Maybe it's going to be part of the not-used parts of the film? The original cut was almost 5 hours, and they cut it down to just under three for the theatrical release.

No, it was 3 and a half hours long in the theater.

Secondly, there was no Scouring shot. The closest they came to that was in the first film when Frodo looked into the mirror of Galadriel. After hearing people complain the ending was too long anyway, I think having another fight scene that only involved 100 troops and took another half hour would have gone over like a lead balloon.

Personally, I was disappointed that Saruman wasn't in RotK, and I would rather see Samwise confront the Watchers than see Legolas take down an Oliphaunt singlehandedly, but there is no such thing as a perfect movie adaptation of a book. I recommend the movie Adaptation for those upset about the conversion from one form of art to another.

Whenever I can, I prefer to pick up the mobile to call somebody, if you stay on the phone for no longer than 30 seconds its about the same cost. And the call is calcuated per second airtime.

In New Zealand, the call is charged for the first minute, and then it's calculated every second after that minute is up, so that trick doesn't work.

The excellent thing about Text Messaging (for the companies) is that the cost of the texts (normally about 20c) can be anything they want it to be.

The best example of this was text voting for NZ Idol in April. A lot of kids had the Telecom Unlimited Texting, so they voted hundreds of times for their favourite Idol.

Unfortunately, they didn't see the fine print that said all votes were 99c, and some people ran up hundreds of dollars in bills. Also, some sent their votes after voting closed, and were charged 99c even though their vote diddn't count.

Here's an article that backs me up.

It also has an answer to your question
But how much does it cost the telcos to provide a text message? Well below 1c, according to Sydney-based telecoms commentator Paul Budde.

Extra Bitterness: NZ Idol received about $450,000 of government funding to get made.

So even if he is cleared by the US court, can all of those countries also charge him with copyright infringement? Can he be tried repeatedly, until they either run out of countries, or one of them finds him guilty?
