Today's computers do only task programming. A system is programmed to perform a specific task with predetermined parameters. I submit that using today's technology, AI is not even possible. Look at the hardware layer. A "massively parallel" system has what, a few dozen cores limited by bus of connectivity.
A brain, even an lower mammal has billions interconnected neurons, each capable of independent firing and the inter-connectivity is dynamic as it changes over time, experiences and developing needs and/or skills.
Till the medium of computer development changes, AI is over-hyped task programming.

As a business, monitor your backbone and if you need to replace your switch faster with more/redundant switches, decrease switch planned replacement periods and if that makes you unprofitable, increase monthly rates. But that's not what they're doing. They want to carve up the internet and sell your personal data.
These greedy bully's are just trying to extract more revenue and using "elected" officials and laws to do so while removing consumer protections.

you pay for a connection... period. That's the definition of ISP model revenue stream.
Killing Net Neutrality will allow the communications cabal (AT&T/Comcast/Verizon) to say-"Oh! You want netflix, now you have to buy an -entertainment bundle- to visit that site". Or the "sports bundle" if you want to watch ESPN stream. They really want to turn the internet into "packages" like they've done with cable TV. The difference here is that ESPN & HBO on the cable side license their content and charge stations. With Netflix/Hulu/Prime, we the consumers are already paying for the content, plus we're paying for the connection, plus the cabal wants the charge the content providers usage of their path ways, plus charge the consumer extra...
AND they want to build profiles and sell your surfing habits to marketers (aka facebook) and you as a consumer have no rights or protections without NN.
This is an $8B give away to the communications cabal at the expense of the American consumer. Nothing more.

People who promote cigarette smoking because they don't believe it is addicting or causes cancer
People who refuse to believe in medicine because "god cures all" while they let their children die.
Rather than build on successes of the past ,or, as we used to say “standing on the shoulders of giants”, build a better future from lessons learned-
na, let’s just repeat past failures without learning from them.

unfortunately, we do not have a free market system. The oligarchy is using its quickly amassing wealth to fund further plundering of our rights for it's own riches. Till we change how elections are funded, expect this process to accelerate.

Just like building codes regulate that structures should be able to withstand earthquakes in earthquake zones, and that public buildings need fire escapes, and that you just can't dump garbage into rivers, lakes and streams, etc.
So, yes, in that regard, most believe it's Government's job to setup protections - since corporations have shown time after time they put profit over safety or human life.
It this case, Net Neutrality tells ISP's they CAN NOT sell your personal surfing behavior or prioritize one source over another. Without NN your ISP will be able to sell you not only the connection, but also a "bundle" where if you don't pay for the "sports bundle", your ESPN will crawl, or if you don't purchase the "entertainment" bundle, Netflix / Hulu or Amazon Prime will be too slow to stream in HiDef. Remember, you are already paying for the connection (which is the DEFINITION of ISP), and you've likely had data caps put in place over the past year or two. Repealing NN is nothing more than an estimate $8 BILLION hand over to ISP's with ZERO consumer benefit, reduced protections and increased cost.
As far as "choice", most cable companies have used laws to ensure nobody else can compete in their market. I live in Seattle... My "choice" is Comast or DSL with Frontier... Ya, some choice.
This just epitomizes why consumer protections are necessary and proves the our government is actually an oligarchy.
