    Well what I did was just noted the voltages, cut off the brick, then attached the cable to a power supply that I built and havent any problems with my c64 since.

    I would sugest the xboxer's try this if possible.

    go all the way to a Phd and be a grant mongering research scientist. You do not need to be that to get a job.

    It still doesn't explain the difference between an enviroment and a window manager. It just says an eviroment is sort of like a WM but with added functions. What does one do that the other doesnt?

    And what does X do? I doubt that it can tranfer the screen image pixel by pixel. So it must be incharge
    of graphial elements too right?

    Finally fucin A! someone finally gets it!
    we Amigans have been trying to make this point for the last 20 years(well it seemslike 20). Windows has been beating the shit out of it's HD's since it's inception. It cant multi task period! It's stupid for users to be stuck in limbo waiting for I/O to finish. proccessor speed is THE ONLY saving grace the modern PC has.
