Well what I did was just noted the voltages, cut off the brick, then attached the cable to a power supply that I built and havent any problems with my c64 since.
A lot of college curricula assumes that you want to go all the way to a Phd and be a grant mongering research scientist. You do not need to be that to get a job.

we Amigans have been trying to make this point for the last 20 years(well it seemslike 20). Windows has been beating the shit out of it's HD's since it's inception. It cant multi task period! It's stupid for users to be stuck in limbo waiting for I/O to finish. proccessor speed is THE ONLY saving grace the modern PC has.
