    Becuase on linux, there is a plugin for gedit, that I'm using right now, for spellchecking.

    This bit of Daoist(?) wisdom was more elegantly (or at least more succinctly) stated by Joseph Campbell, who said, "He who says he knows, doesn't know. He who says he doesn't know, knows".

    He's right - They've always been 4, 5, & 6. Watch the original a New Hope and check the flying title at the beginning (and btw why name it that if there was no old hope?)

    Wrong, it was not Ep. 4 when released in '77. Every video release includes Ep. 4 in the titling, though, because every video release has ocurred since the title crawl was modified in '80 on or about the time TESB was released.

    The original theatrical release did not contain the Ep. 4 reference in the crawl, even though the chronology already existed in Lucas' mind. Until the first film was released and was successful there was no guarantee that any further sequels would be made, and thus no point in referring to them.

    But it wasn't Ep. 4 to begin with. Just "Star Wars". The Ep. 4 stuff was added when it was re-released.

    pbs (public briadcasting stations) and npr (national public radio)both of wich are funded and regulated by the government.

    This is an exaggeration. NPR and PBS get little of their funding from Federal sources.

    NPR is only 1-2% Federally funded:

    There are some interesting parallels in some of the writings, and Buddha did appear first chronologically, and his missionaries did move west as far as Alexandria, so...

    There is proof, of course, but it makes for some interesting food for thought.

    The concept of salvation by Grace (bought be Christ's sacrifice) is pretty much the only thing at all unique about Christianity.

    Probably the most radical teaching of Jesus was the whole idea of "love thy enemies". Though it may have ultimately originated from Buddhism (scholars disagree), for all practical purposes it can be said that this teaching, too, was/is unique to Christianity.

    Does anyone have any information about this? What UPS makes/models are supported?

    I think you need to do a little more research yourself. For the most part, Pakistanis are culturally and linguistically Indian (with some Iranian and Central Asian thrown in), not Arabic.

    I saw a DVD version of the original Metropolis [...] and it was without a doubt the worst dvd i have ever seen in quality terms.

    A new Metropolis DVD was released in 2003 containing the best and most complete print of the film released thus far. Its quality is stunning.
