HAHA stupid RIAA!!!!! those pitiful assmasters don't even realize that they can shut down web sites, and p2p networks ALL day long... but usenet... kids, usenet is where the real action is.
not only can i download endless pr0n svcd/vcd/jpg/mpg files, but i can also download the latest music (hell even all the classics!), games for all my consoles, warez for fuckin' EVERY platform. and well pretty much anything else that i could ever need or want.
so please, kill those freakin p2p networks... they are hogging all my bandwith....
did anyone actually read this? it's not a powerpc chip, the article is talking about the ibm POWER4 cpu. while it may be compatabile with powerpc, it is NOT a powerpc chip. it seems that ibm might be looking to get a peice of the desktop unix workstation market (a la sun).
sigh. only a few hundred more pages till my/. subscription runs out.. and noy am i not renewing:P
That's not all. We're also working on an in-game browser, linux server port, and host of other features. Yes, we've been busy the past week! More servers, providing for the addition of community servers, more missions, and more Army training! But that's just the tip of the iceberg, troops! Stay tuned for more! [Bacchus]
as i understand it, this isn't a software based solution for the GBA to play mp3s, it's an external mp3 player that requires the gba for power and an interface.
how hard could it be to whip up a GBC playlist app? i'm sure to save time that's all they did since the gba is infact backwards compatable.
You've got to keep in mind though, the offical GBA sdk *is* gcc and the rest of the gnu development tools. I think the only benifit you get with the nintendo branded gba sdk is lots of documentation and offical header files.
i'd just like to thank everyone involved with the LOTR project. Not only did you turn out a quality adaptation of fellowship, but you're doing a *DAMN* good job of keeping the fans interested.
you can count on my hard earned cash when these dvds are released:)
Ahhh! i remember the ppc 615! only thing is i don't thing it was a 604 core, i *think* it was basically a ppc 601+ and the x86 core was one of the early pentiums.
it's really a shame this never saw the light of day... could have cause QUITE a stir.
Yes war is indeed hell, and personally i don't agree with using military action as a world policing service...
but you've got to keep this one fact in mind. they want you DEAD. if you are american, be it anti or pro war, they want you DEAD. they want your family and friends DEAD along side you. and honestly i don't see them stopping until they themselves are infact DEAD.
I may be holding up the peace sign in hopes for a quick resolve for this confict, but i do infact support my government and my military. our attackers have spilt american blood on american soil. they have killed americans IN OUR OWN HOMELAND!
it's time to protect our homeland. just remeber next time you want to bitch about america possibly killing innocents (it's bound to happen and i hope we can minimize this..), that our attackers will gaddly look you in the eye as they kill you.
If you are really so worried about blackhat hackers why not just use a hardware firewall and NAT and give every machine an unroutable ip. use port forwarding to direct traffic towards your mail and web servers, and just make sure your all your daemons aren't grossly insecure.
I'm really getting sick of this "which os is the most secure?" crap. if you want out of the box anally secure go with OpenBSD. period.
I wonder if Cray intends to use one of it's proprietary networking (like craylink) instead of 100/1000Base-t. IMHO- that would be quiet bad ass. Even more so because the source code would provide and *amazing* example (the core theory... like how cray manages memory or distributes load) for the open source super computer community.
Also, could this help Compaq feel better that it's still keeping the Alpha alive? It's really quite sad to see such an awsome chip not in much use.
wrong, wrong, WRONG!
me chinese!
me play joke!
me go pee pee in your coke!!!!!!!!

c'mon guys, do we have to see this story posted YET AGAIN?! all this is going to do is jerk off all the linux zelots.
So when can we expect to see the freebsd VM code in a linux distro?
