Now I can finish building the home-brewed space vehicle I've been building in my garage in the full confidence that It will be able to dock with all the latest hardware up there. Phew! That's one less problem I need to worry about.
Good luck to you when the prices of your HDTV, your notebook PC, your iPad and your mobile phone all double, not to mention a hundred other hi-tech gadgets that you depend upon. The days when China only made cheap plastic crap are long past. Check all the high-tech goods that you own for Made in China labels. A huge proportion of all semiconductor manufacturing is in China, along with all the supply chain industries that enable it. And you are not going to just shift that to Africa or even India overnight, because they do not have the highly educated workforce that China can provide.
Well, if it is, then the US is pursuing tactics that will lose the infrastructure battle. The WTC cost about $900 million to build. Let's assume that rebuilding at today's prices cost 10 times as much, say $9 billion. Then, in this infrastructure battle, even if terrorists had destroyed 50 WTC-sized targets, it would still make more sense for the the US to just suck it up and rebuild, than to spend the amount of money that they have on Iraq and Afghanistan. That's how incredibly wasteful war is.

You can buy "soft seat" or "hard seat" tickets, however.

Try telling that to Levi Strauss.
They just need sufficiently advanced technology. That would be indistinguishable.

I thought that sending someone a Zune was more or less the hi-tech equivalent of leaving a horses head in their bed.

I support the right to bear arms because I HATE long-sleeved shirts.
Thank you for helping me to justify my love of dining out on environmental grounds. It's nice to feel well fed and righteous.
The old get older but the young get stronger
May take a week and it may take longer
They got the guns but we got the numbers
Gonna win, yes we're taking over
