I disagree, Poker is a game of skill as much as it is luck. No matter how well you play, there is no accounting for bad beats and dumb luck.
The one thing a good / smart player will do, is every now and then know when to take calculated risks to maximize winnings over small losses, which the bots of course can do.
If the bots are to be successful, it's only because they can grind longer than the pros can, basically 24/7. The way a casino could actually stop / minimize this is to check login's and how long a player is on.
I play poker because it is as much of a science, as it is an art.
It's an Oscar or Academy Award, emmy's are for television. Next, really I think it's bullshit every single one of you. If it's not one person selling out, it's another thing of neglecting the fanbase.
Look Star Wars maybe all of ours, but it's not, it's George Lucas's, he's the artist with the vision. After awhile creating the special edition is what he wanted the original edition to be but was limited to 1970's technology. This was the work he wanted to finish. His work, not yours.
The only parallel I can picture:
It's like me screaming at someone's open source project after them adding or changing an API, I can't believe you made that change, you suck. Leave Lucas alone, if you don't like it, it is your right as a consumer and don't buy it.
(By the way Han shooting first sucked, but I'm still buying the SE's on DVD)
8. John Kerry will personally create thousands of jobs in America.
The next time you use a bottle of Heinz ketchup (catsup) for your "freedom fries", check to see where it has been bottled. (Hint: it's probably not inside the U.S.)
I consider myself Liberatarian, however I find that the Republican party suits my political needs fiscally. I support lowering taxes, and support less government, and honestly I don't really give a damn about certain social issues, like who can marry who.
Do you find when you vote there are needs when voting for candidates that are more important than others, therefore you should stick to voting within the traditional party lines?
Let's take a look at the Persians, the Greeks, the Holy Roman Empire, the British Empire, and, hell, even the USSR. These were mighty, mighty nations with incredible power, control, and influence and they all fell out of power.
I use this example all the time, if history truly repeats itself, well were next. Look at the Chinese, they are desperately trying to become a world power. They certainly have the manpower to do it.
However I believe that it isn't nations that is going to be the world powers rather that perceived power will be shifted to corporations, and this is something that really has been in progress for quite a while.
I think it's a good idea to have this channel, but I would really like to see both parties represented. With the occasional third and fourth party representation, cause the hippies and the anarchists should have a voice too.

It's not so much anymore. Different commodities hold different values. King's and countries riches use to be measured by the amount of gold / spices and commodities they had.
You can use almost anything to back a currency, the point he's trying to make something should back it. Like OPEC countries could use oil to back their currencies. The U.S. could use steel or grain or who knows what. As long as something is used to back the currency. However gold or silver was used to back the original currency as stated by the Constitution. This may need to be revised.
Now this I don't believe is true anymore, but the U.S. Dollar use to be the value of gold that the government owed you. Legal tender, a promissory note that said you had so much gold or what not. Hence the need for Fort Knox.
The idea that the Professor could print money and say will use this to trade commodities is stupid, and he would be voted off the Island real quick. However if he some how said that I will hold something for you and I will give you this dollar which you can trade back for this item. He creates an Promissory Note/I.O.U. That gives value to the money.
Reminds me of Lloyd from Dumb & Dumber "That's as good as money sir, those are IOUs. Go ahead and add it up every cents accounted for. Look, see this that's a car, 275 thou might want to hang on to that one."
Yeah that and when's the last time anyone from the tech world dictated what is hip and cool. Leave cool to MTV. If we were so worried about being "cool" we all would end up emulating the losers on G4TechTV... Cause they know what's "cool."
I always begin writing a comment like yours. I completely agree, I too am Libertarian, and I tend to vote my wallet more off than my general social beliefs. I believe in smaller government. However I understand there is a need for public education, maintenance of highways, and a defense / police budget.
However if people want to marry (Men/Women|Multiple Men / Women|Dogs and or cats) I don't care. I'm Catholic and don't believe in abortion, but I'm sure as shit going to defend against the goverment telling any girl what they can do with their body.
Fuck the religious right. This country was founded on the basis of religious freedom. So back off.
And especially Fuck the Wacko left, telling me I'm better off paying the government more taxes because I make more money than joe-six pack. A lot of people died because we didn't want to pay tax on:INSERT HERE:
Kerry is MUCH closer to traditional Republicans than Bush is.
No, we vote our pocketbook first, I think most conservatives in this day in age are more Libertarian (less government), which I think that's what Arnold is all about. Keep up defense, and education, however if people want to cut off their own heads, or marry their dogs let them.
The army will never send in someone in without at least some form of training. Even though warefare has boiled down to munitions, You still learn basic hand-to-hand fighting in boot camp. I don't think the military will ever change that.
I disagree IE is a browser. Always has been. That's why it's called "Internet Explorer", now it happens to be combined with the "Windows Explorer" so a user can interact with the Windows File System. Hell Firefox and other browsers can still browse local directories, they just don't have the built in interface to manipulate them, and that is why the other browsers (by design) are more times than not less prone to security holes that affect your computers filesystem.
I agree with that. If a movie truly does suck you should be entitled to get your money back.
The good news is... you can get your money back. Just walk out of a movie when it's halfway done, exclaim to the manager that the movie sucks, nine chances out of ten. You will get your money back. If you wait till the end of the movie, they'll probably laugh at you and you will be once again out of plus or minus $9.50.
No one does this, for two reasons, one we believe that people are genuinely good, and no individual would intentially try to cram their sh*t down our throats, and two because maybe the movie will have some sort of redeeming quality, that made it worth the two hours of hell that you sat through.
However getting fed sh*t over and over again, has made me become more picky in the movies I go and see. No matter how good the critics or studio says "Cold Mountain" is, I will never ever go see it.
P.S. BTW 'Hollywood' stop showing me Mountain Dew and Los Angeles Times and or whatever commercials before the movie starts, if I wanted to watch commercials, I'd watch regular television where I can change the channel if it's crap. Either that charge me less for a movie ticket.
Yeah I almost flipped a lid that I lost my mail and didn't bother to back up Thunderbird. Then I realized I'm an idiot, and the application doesn't store my user info.

HA HA!

Played Warlords.
The End.
(I, on the other hand, will be buying that CD. Then I will practice for a few weeks, call up my cousin to play again. REVENGE WILL BE MINE.)
Right after a 11 point swing since the RNC.
Let's look at the news stories so far...
Hackers Take Aim at Republicans
Bikes Against Bush Creator Busted

Did I just detect an Armegeddon reference?
Nawwwww this is Slashdot.
Why is gold and silver the magic answer?

Don't worry some pointy haired boss out there has a hard copy of the Internet sitting on his desk.

... when I said the applet was not dead.
After 8 years and seeing these, I say...
Damnit, they're still right.

Manifest Destiny.
and their dominance has become so detrimental to the survival of small, emerging companies
Yeah and Turner broadcasting so fits into that category...

You should follow behind the bus and call it 'The Cleaning up the FUD Tour'
Cartoon Network does have Adult Swim, but none of them is all CG.
