That would have been tough. My buddy went to Fry's at Fountain Valley, lucky for me he still had his pre-order ticket for EB Games which I used. They were all out / except for pre-orders at three different EB Games in Southern California.
I know this sounds cheesie but the sound track is the city design and soundtrack that accompanies changing certain zones. Walking into Stormwind (The human city) from Elwynn Forest, is a humbling experience. It truly bring's the feeling that this world is truly alive and has a great history to it.
You did the impossible Blizzard. You finally shut me up about Starcraft 2.
Why shouldn't we have a popular vote? Because it disadvantages the small states? That's crap - they already have disproportionate numbers in Congress, why should they have an advantage in the presidential election as well?
Do they? Only in the Senate, not in the House. Besides, how often does a bill come to the Senate without passing through the President's hand first? Never. The president represents the federal government.
Also remember things like appointing Federal Judges is by far one of the most important thing the President does. Why is this important to individual states? Because that would almost effectively undermine any minority state's Supreme Court. I don't think it's a perfect system at all... However it works. The loser's will always whine about how a change is needed, however it's not applicable during this election.
Does Oracle still require a 1.2+ gigabyte footprint? Yup, getting bigger all the time.
Does Oracle still charge $40,000 per CPU for a perpetual Enterprise License?
I think if someone bought Oracle just to power a web site, they deserved to be bitch slapped. MySQL is still for relatively small to mid-size deployments. Oracle would be like a Mercedes when MySQL is more like a 76 Beetle. The features of the Mercedes, along with the engine will probably be better built (More HP) and more (Safer during a crash). However the Saturn gets you from one place to another at a fraction of the cost.
Ring games are much different than Tournament / No-Limit, or Pot-Limit games. I haven't seen many bots that can play in anything but ring games where it is very much mechanical. However raising the amount playing for from say $.25-$.50 online (which is pretty much a $2-$4 game anywhere else Due to the frequency of the hands online) to say a higher limit game $30-$60 the game becomes a little different.
It's kind of funny how much attention Slashdot has been givingtopokerlately... Why now?
I have an AlienWare box and it cost less then a Mac and kicks the crap out of a Mac speed-wise.
Did you a purchase a 17 inch flat screen monitor to go with that? Oh no you didn't... Ahh I see you forgot to add that. Let's just talk about base prices:
I think your price comparison is fairly off. I don't believe it outperforms one another. If your solely talking on GHz, and video game titles, then I will concede to your argument otherwise, don't compare the two.
Let's take american football, 11 players on each side, so that's 22. What's so massive about that? Is the other 10,000 people on the server sitting in the stands.
Actually this sounds very cool, I'll play the virtual peanuts vendor... I can annoy everyone within my sector by yelling "Peanuts get your peanuts..." or even better I can be the streaker in the game and try to avoid security while running across the field...
It's a object relational persistence Manager for Java, kinda like JDO. Nifty little tool so you don't have to make your own persistence calls with JDBC, saves a lot of keystrokes. I bought the book and it shows a lot of different tricks, and with Hibernate's QBE (Query By Example), saves a ton of time debugging dynamic SQL Calls.
I've been using this for quite a while, coupled with Spring you can write a lot of robust reusuable objects, if you utilize java's OO design methods.
O'Reilly claims the viewers average test scores did not reflect a true random sample.
"Of the Daily Show viewers polled, only those with enough drive and ambition took the quiz (and did well). The "pot smoking slackers" on the other hand, were up and rattled for a few seconds, then took another hit from the bong and forgot about this nonsense all together."
Online poker works by taking in a 'rake' from each pot, usually around 10% or so.
Wow that seems like an awful lot, tell me which sites take 10%, so I don't go there... What I've seen is rakes typically are a little more than 2% a hand with a maximum taken out.
Call me crazy but that was an Elantra not an Excel.
Oh I see, you were trying to prove the above poster's point.

probably because I was in a theatre with kids.

Adult humor in a Pixar film, now that's comedy.

Who cares anyways though, eventually it will not matter. The streets will flow with blood from all the non-believers.

it would have been longer if the amount of characters in a username would have allowed the extra characters '_DA_LEGEND'
If someone trips over the power cord, or the power goes out, does she have the patience to start over?
So the G3 Emulates at 50Khz with PearPC. Bet she wishes she could have used Cherry OS!

I liked Boiler Room.
But that's not an action movie.
Isn't Godzooky the same as minilla?
I mean the one that would force me to upgrade, is if on their DVD application they had an option to leave the window always on top.
I like to watch AntiTrust (Shhh... Don't tell anybody) while I'm coding.

Of course I'm joking...

With the release of the SE and the three new prequels, movies like Battlefield Earth, it won't be hard to find GREAT material for this movie.
