I thought the street was a public location where there was no expectancy of privacy. These cameras were inside their homes. You can't expect no one to see you if you walk around nude with all your windows open and the lights on, you can however expect that no one is watching if you close all the blinds and make sure all your doors are shut.
"Within five minutes of starting the car, the interlock will order the driver to pull over and restart the car. For longer rides, drivers will be required at random times to stop the car and restart. Maccarone said this feature is intended to prevent drivers from drinking after they start the car."
While I agree the movies need to stop forever some of the games and even the books are pretty good. Kotor is an excellent game and had a far better storyline as well as better lore than the actual movies. The force unleashed seems like it's a pretty good game, and the new star wars mmorpg might be a nice one as well.
Why isn't there a big uproar about all these ridiculous patent/trademark/copyright lawsuits in any form of mainstream media? If my congressmen for the next election ran on the platform of severely limiting software patents I know I would vote for him even if he also ran for eating babies!
I completely agree with this, although for me it breaks down into genres as well. If I'm watching a comedy I'm much less likely to care about the video quality (although it still needs to be decent) because it's going to be just as funny either way. But if I'm watching an action movie where the main point of the movie is fighting scenes and special effects then I'd much prefer to watch it on blu-ray. I also like to get all my favorite movies on blu-ray since I like them so much, if it's a movie I enjoy but it's not one of my favorites I settle for DVD.
After using a trackball for so long I can't stand using a normal mouse, I still CAN use one when I have to but I much prefer moving only my thumb and not my entire arm. I don't see them making a virtual trackball mouse anytime soon.
I agree with this guy. Unless you are going on a camping trip every month it's much better just to rent your vacation vehicles. It's not very expensive and it saves a lot of wear on your car anyways, plus if anything happens it's not your car so you don't have to worry about it.
Terrible analogy. They didn't put a password on their wi-fi, which happens to be streaming radio waves everywhere!. It's more like if you accidentally run someone over with your car because they jumped out in the middle of a 70mph highway that you happened to be driving on.
"When I first read about Chromoting I was hoping it'd be something more along the lines of OnLive - i.e, the 'legacy' programs are running on super-powerful remote machines," wrote Mark Lunney, a Flash Developer for Glue London.
"Google could set up a pay-per-use license with the software manufactures to allow them to be used remotely, which'd also cut piracy down. And the thought of rendering an entire 3D scene or movie on one of Google's supercomputers in seconds would surely be enough of a reason to get a lot of power users switching." -From the article.
This is exactly what I thought of when I read this. Google could run the programs on their computers for you, so your netbook with only 1gig of ram can run as much as your bandwidth will allow. OnLive would be a great service to use with Chrome OS.

I can relate to that 100%
Wow, your wife sucks.

This is absolutely hilarious. He says "classified" for literally every other word. People really thought this was real?
Just another reason to ignore Motorola and get an HTC. Motorola phones are always crappy quality anyways.

So what happens to gamespot, do they get in trouble for using "copyrighted" screenshots in their game reviews?
I don't think they believe the Devil exists, that's kind of the point.
Do you want me to let you know when you gain the ability to match words to pictures like 6 month old toddlers can as well?
