An article claiming human advancement while really trying to rationalize just the opposite...
Hindsight of tomorrow will know human evolution/creationism is predictable to the point of knowing there is no changing direction, only suppressing its rate of advcancement..

Survival of consciousness..... For it is thru the awareness and understanding of what all exist in existance that enable more to be created in existance, that IS MORE than otherwise.
If you are all that is, then how do you know you are alive, not dying? By growing, expanding....
The more you know and understand, the more you can cause more variations in what exist in existance... And this includes the creation of life capable of consciousness as a multiplying factor for survival insurance..

as the link would always dl about 2 megs then drop with teh message it was complete...
So I tried wget and it ended up dling what seems to be the wondows version, regardless of teh fact I was requesting the linux version...
Finally gave up and dl'd the english GB version,,
So yeah, at least 80 million this way...
I have attempted numerious times to DL it only to get a partial dl when firefox says its done....
So I then tried using wget only to have it not give me the linux version but instead insist on giving me the windows version.... and it persist in dling the wndows version even after exiting the shell...
during all of this I have noticed more and more language versions come online...
Maybe they need to slow up and get it right...
I really don't need nor can I use windows version on Linux... And yes, I did in fact tell wget to get the linux version...
I recall reading some research on the video camera london installed on its streets. They found that operators/human monitors of the feeds spent most of their time focused on the sexual activities of people on the street. They also found some of the people on the street, playing to the cameras.

... is that the truth of the nature of software will have to come to a head. When it does then it will be obvious that software is not of a patentable nature, but rather of a nature that we humans have both a right and duty to improve upon. That of "abstraction creation and use".
The current problem is one of neith side really wanting to be honest about the nature of software, for that would mean programming would become easy enough to do that most anyone can, and regardless of their knowledge and time constraints. When this happens of will be common and far from "non-obvious" the practice of programming, as it is in using a decimal system calculator today.
In the mean time, due to Computer science detours via money carrots and the vested interest of the current programming industry you can expect all possible tactics of beating around teh bush, avoiding the truth, etc.
Like jailing Galelio for speaking the truth, witch hunts etc... all because there are those who do not want to see the honest reality of the nature of programming.
Programming is the act of automating complexity, typically made up of previously done automations, and all for the purpose of providing a simplified interface to the functional complexity so that the user of it may use it over and over.
The very objective of programming is to automate whatever..... including programming itself.
Its just a matter of the pimple of dishonesty to come to a head and pop.
