Is spreading the concept of commercialism in order to destroy the true meaning of Christmas... I think that it's no accident that his name is an anagram for Satan.
Just kidding, all. I'm from a Chanukah house. No offense intended...
I beg to differ with their claim.. there are functional systems much smaller than this thing. Single board systems have been doing this for years -
See: WinSystems, Inc. for one such company.
Well, this is a mainstream adaptation of the series... and not everyone has read Tolkien.
To have spoilers wouldn't be right. Don't assume that since you know the plot that everyone does.
Artifical supernovas? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't supernovas the cause of black holes? I mean, it seems unlikely to occur, considering the small mass involved in the experimental samples... but if the matter is compressed enough, won't we get a "mini" black hole -- the idea that escape velocity from a single point would be that great is not (completely) insane.
Correct me if I'm wrong... but resolution doesn't mean a thing if the image quality isn't good. If the image itself isn't very clear, the resolution won't matter. Is this a true 61 cm per pixel image -- or rather, a faux resolution... I can make a 1 m image have 61 cm resolution, but it won't change a thing. Still an ambitious attempt, though.
This seems quite similar to Apple's iPod. Both are innovative reworkings of existing devices. However, in both cases, the price seems excessive. This, like Apple's device, is an important step towards the synthesis of Home Computers and Audio equipment... let's see if they can get the price down.
Is a tribunal necessary in order to determine the outcome of these international cases? International law is fickle, especially when it comes to the Internet...
Perhaps a court may cause more trouble than it fixes.
Some sort of greater arbiter should analyze such cases. It is the only true possible solution to such dilemmas. The question is: how?
Should there be a total cost of materials limitation? Perhaps this could equalize the competition - a less financially sound operation could perhaps compete with major universities... it might be wise.
I really think that our government's resources could be better allocated to fighting a war than listening to a bunch of angry nerds.
(Note: Not flamebait. I'm a nerd, myself.) Just noting that it might be a little wasteful, if, indeed, the entirety of the e-mails are read... and a little pointless if they're not read. Seems like a silly idea in the first place.
Correct me if I'm wrong... I usually am.
Shatner is perfect as the Chairman... over-the-top, energetic and inherently humorous... however, I highly doubt he can fully capture the charm of Kaga...
Out of curiosity, why can't this be held in a more moderate temperature? I understand the need for desolate conditions... but aren't there plains or fields or something that isn't extremely uncomfortable? I would so do it if it weren't in the worst temperature range ever. That and my completely lack of any possible skills to offer.:)
Mixing 80's Buddy Cop shows and Santa = bliss. Thank you. Thank you.
...though, I never did trust that Santa guy. His name IS an anagram for Satan.

(...I'm watching you, Santa. I'm watching you.)
Actually, the line from Ralph Wiggum is "Me fail English? That's unpossible." Get your Simpsons quotes right, punk. ;)
They're restricting the amount of water that flows clockwise! That darn Australian government!

What kind of name is Tidus? Well.... I guess it's better than FFV's "Butz." ::resists urge to make goatse.cx reference::
Sorry. Bad link.
Chomo.

The only Chomo that Some might know.
Perhaps the tulips represented "Tulip Mania," or the current incarnation of the frenzy - this time in mergers.
Little known fact: The slashdot effect is actually the unleashing of the devasting effects of the ring.
Even lesser known fact: CowboyNeal is Frodo.

They only polled recipients of Bill Gates' "Millenium" scholarships.

A bit orgy. ::laughs::
