Think lower level than DNS. What happens when there is no central body over IP addresses? Will your traffic to x.x.x.x get routed to country Y or country Z?
I have no plans to remove my desk phone. That is the number on my business cards, and the number used for vendors. I also use it for conference calls. I would rather not do conference calls on my cell, nor do I want 4-5 vendors a day calling me on the cell phone. I find a desk phone makes for a nice answering service...it rings and gives voicemail...but I rarely actually answer a call on it.
Whatever dimwit argued that the Surface needed that "perception of value" should be fired, after being publicly humiliated and dressed like a duck while giving an apologetic speech on national TV.
Your post poses an interesting question. Could Disney be positioning themselves for another acquisition? I think that would be great situation for both Netflix and Disney. Not so great for Dreamworks who inked a deal with Netflix last year. Disney has a great track record for acquiring companies and not destroying them.
Perhaps this is telling in how little support is given to phones after they are sold. Mine runs Gingerbread (2.3.3). It is 2 years old, yet was released 2 years, 4 months ago. No updates were provided past 2.3. Sure, I can install CM on it or another flavor, but most consumers will not do that. I expect the numbers to reach Froyo levels in 2013 as users start swapping carrier-subsidized phones for ICS or JB. One thing Apple does get right...phones get new versions of the OS long into the future. The Android handset manufacturers don't bother. Each phone has 1, maybe 2 OS updates and you are done...while sitting on a 2 year contract. This chart proves that that most phones are on the 2+ year upgrade cycle.
Could you point out where?I am failing to see in the agreements and documentation where is states that we will reduce the world's population. Mostly I see agreements on human rights and protecting children?
Look at the defense budget. 60% goes to contractors, the leftover 40% goes to the troops "payroll, healthcare, etc.). The defense budget is a sacred cow, you can only add, not subtract. So guess what happened when contractors figured that out?
I can one-up you. I did tech support on the real original iPhone seen here. I sometimes wish I kept the demo model I had from back then for nostalgic purposes. Wonder if anyone still has one that works?
As a hiring manager myself, I like your numbered list and would mostly agree. However, I wouldn't recommend the free internships...unless you fail to find an entry level job (help desk, etc.) or good open source project to work with.
Same here, my phone service is unlimited and uncapped. My ISP is also unlimited, unthrottled, and uncapped. Not everyone goes with the same 2-3 big carriers. And I have no major complaints with my service...
Now I envision a middle aged guy with a brown hat and whip swooping down during the auction to swipe the collection for some museum...
I would love to see your article posted on the front page of Slashdot like this one. At least I know yours would be written in a humorous vein...

Prior art...? Are there any patents on this "method to move 2 genders of the same species to an unpopulated wasteland" feature?

Hmmm...I'd pay to see that on Pay Per View...

Do you mean apply in a Canadian court (RIM is Canadian) to tell the Finns (Nokia is based in FInland) they're not allowed to enforce that?
Could you explain how you walk south from Antarctica?
Also: Big Macs, 64 oz. sodas, and no exercise.
Hey now...some of us prefer Whoppers and 2 liters. Oh wait...I missed the point didn't I...
Watching Office Space were you...?

Well, that would have solved the obesity problem...
the USA does not claim sovereignty over the British homeland.
Maybe we should...that could be fun.
*ducks*

Perhaps...but where do you think the cloud vendors get their storage drives from? Just shifting from the consumer to the provider market.
Don't you think?

Perhaps one of the greatest comments ever seen regarding I.T. projects...

Perhaps she was searching for nuclear wessels?
NASA has facilities in Langley? The conspiracy theorists must have a field day with that...
Good point...looks like I must have registered about the same time as you.
