face it, without a specialized connector, none of that is possible. unless you make the ipod a host, in which case your battery life will suck and syncing with a computer will be an adventure.

i even heard a well written and clearly informed piece on NPR, that discussed the potential constitutional issues and the chilling effect this would have on any security research.

i expect this 'result' to be completely wrong in the next couple product cycles. the intel 'mass market' drives already advertise significant power saving potential and are the first consumer component offered.
sales tax is something the state compels the company to collect. if not they can request it (through several means) from the company doing the selling.

Firefox 3 has a very fast javascript interpreter in it. But not as fast as version 2 with noscript running. When noscript runs on version 3 it will be even faster. I can't wait! noscript + adblock = internet heaven!

last time i saw _comparably_ equipped mac vs pc pricing, they were at least equal.
