Only when they exempt themselves from it do they follow the law. Somebody does need to investigate the NSA and the IRS as they are violating our Constitutional rights and are tools of the current administration used for political purposes.
All "good Americans" should believe this and everything else the government tells us. This is top secret stuff and if they disclosed everything to the traitorous public, then there would have to be some executions taking place. They say it has stopped terrorists and you'd better believe it or else. By the way, if you know what's good for you, you won't discuss this on your telephone or via e-mail.
Any totalitarian government would love to have a Supreme Court making decisions like this one. Let's take rights away from people with little or no money to defend themselves and give special priviliges to those with big bucks who want to buy elections and political favors.
Apparently it costs big bucks to be a good citizen in Canada. Isn't it every citizen's job to do the government's work for them when the government is broke?
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."--Benjamin Franklin
Just as true today as it was in Franklin's time. We have become a nation of short-term thinking sissies who would give our hard won freedoms over to an ever more powerful government for the promise of a little more convenience in our lives which the government cannot and will not provide.
I think it's about time the public started spying on the government. After all, if they aren't doing anything illegal they have nothing to fear. If they try and stop it, that is proof they are guilty of some sort of crime.
Interesting how government spying on the public can be a "top secret." This has nothing to do with national security and everything to do with covering up potentially illegal and certainly unconstitutional activity by government bureaucrats.
These climate scientists should be reclassified as political scientists, which, of course, isn't science at all. Just like their profession. It's all about fear mongering, fundraising and social change.
PETA is comprised of a bunch of self-righteous crybabies. Now, they can sue me, too. My defense will be "facta non verba"--actions speak louder than words. If they had any brains, they'd just ignore this, especially if even a shred of it is true.
If Fox News is a right wing propaganda machine, then MSNBC and most of the other networks are left wing propaganda machines. Who cares how the left justifies violating other peoples' rights? Sure, Obama uses government agencies to punish those who don't slobber all over him. Frankly, it is a sign of weak character, just like it was when Nixon did it. Unfortunately, Congress doesn't have the guts to impeach Obama for his illegal activities, unlike when Nixon was president. And, in spite of being illegally spied upon by the Obama administration, the press will soon forgive him, for he is their emperor who must be served by the fawning media.
97% of scientists used to think the sun revolved around the earth. They also disputed that the Missoula floods shaped the Washington and Oregon landscapes. Unfortunately, 97% of scientists are lazy and think that consensus is a good substitute for an inquiring mind.
If global warming causes the earth's poles to shift, then we must have had it eons ago, because the poles have completely shifted places before. You can't have it both ways. Either global warming is an old phenomenon or it is not causing the poles to shift. Can't have it both ways, unless you are talking about Poles moving, which they probably did during the last mini ice age.
Let's put this gene into every living thing. Think of how much energy we could save by not buying light bulbs. It will reduce global warming and save the planet. Besides, we know better than God what is best for the earth.
Someone needs to investigate the DOJ, which is often used to exert the will of corrupt leaders (like our current president) and has little to do with justice for the American people.
So why don't we counterattack? We're always playing defense on this issue. We call it a warlike act, it is sponsored by many governments whom our government laughingly refers to as allies, but all we do is try to put in defensive measures. I say lets shut down much of the internet in these countries and let the people start civil wars on twitter like they did in Egypt.
Interesting that what used to be bad is now good. Wine, other booze in moderation, coffee, chocolate. To much of these findings were based on personal opinions, not proper data gathering
I have been using Firefox for years, but the latest version slows down with every use and has to be closed and restarted, so I'm using Chrome now, which I don't like as well as Firefox. It sounds like I should give Seamonkey a try.
A better measurement of intelligence would be to observe behavior. What do people read, watch on TV (the vast wasteland), see at movies and do in life? Our school system wants to increase everybody's self esteem. That's far more important to them than teaching reasoning and skills, which is far more difficult. Who in society has great self esteem? Criminals, who feel like their desires trump any of your rights. No wonder our schools have become hotbeds of bullying and discrimination. People years ago were more self-reliant. Does that mean they were smarter? I would say it does. Passing tests when you are taught how to answer the questions--teaching to the test--only makes one more likely to get a good score, not be successful in life.
Not only do they have a right to watch her images and masturbate while at work, they also have the right to fondle anybody they please as long as they don't masturbate in public. After all, we live to serve our government and pay homage to anyone claiming to be an officer of said government.
At least they are fixing the problem and will probably do so more promptly than most. I have had better luck with Firefox than with any other browser. However, the option to keep the old version has disappeared. Mine did not automatically upgrade to 16, so I still am using the last good version. Was 16 a beta version?
Eric Holder wouldn't prosecute him even if he did something worse than lying under oath.
When you plug into your electrical outlet, does it turn green? Otherwise, how would you know where your electricity comes from?

Sad, but true. We are, as described in the book with the same title, a sissy nation. Thankfully, Mr. Snowden is not.

We should not cede control of anything to the UN, which is an incredibly corrupt organization that has outlived its usefulness.
