    They hold a monopoly on hockey games, they use product tying in an horrible way. Haven't you seen those easports.com ads on the boards? They always manage to have some unsatisfied customers and always manage to put a few bugs in the game. EA also removed some features and added unwanted ones. They force us to buy a new version every year and discontinue patch updates for the old version. They even push us to register with EA and use copy protected CD's. They've gone way too far.

    If some people can sue MS we sure can sue EA Sports. I mean grow up people, we can always find some dumb things to say about a product. If you don't like Windows, don't use it.

    Let's see, they use Xerox's GUI and BSD's code. They're the masters at this (cloning, copying, whatever you call it) game and they want no competition, capice?

    Heuh? KDE is a copy of the Windows interface. And they've got some new XP themes. Only thing, MS isn't Steve Jobs, they don't sue someone for something like that.

    People who drive too quickly, too slowly, etc. can be compared to users with 33.6k, 56k, cable modem users, etc.

    Now terrorists on the other hand, will place a bomb to deny access to the highway just like Crackers use DoS attacks to deny access on a website.

    Yes, crackers are definitively terrorists.

    No, the government isn't that crazy. MS won't be held accountable, because flight schools were those people trained weren't held accountable and people who gave them a place to live weren't held accountable. The only way you can be held accountable is if you knew their intentions to begin with and helpded them anyway.

    Have you seen the poor people in Afghanistan? Women are forbidden to study, teach, work, etc.

    I say we have no choice, we need to eliminate the Taliban menace and restore peace to this country. It's our duty to rescue those poor people. I don't encourage war but unfortunately we don't have much of a choice this time.

    yes, I use ASP to and their's a lot of stuff you can do in PERL that you can't do in ASP. If they find PERL a little too complicated they should try Python, it's really easy and fun.

    Self configuring computers, self tuning, etc.? I won't allow that to happen. Me and Belinda (my sweet computer) have a very close relationship and won't let anything get between us, especially an OS. Together we enjoyed the good times and lived through the bad times. We're united and communication is an important part of our relationship.

    This new generation of OS's have no idea what love means, they should be ashamed of themselves.

    Security is only an illusion, we can't be 100% secure without sacrificing our privacy and/or confort; even then that won't guarantee our security. Ask yourself this, is it easier to destroy or to create?

    I say we should do the same thing as U.S. does with terrorists. Find the worm writers and beat them to a pulp. We'll make them our bitch.

    You've got a very good point. Usually licenses are only meant to protect the authors. Actually I don't even remember the last time that MS sued someone.

    haven't you learned yet that security is just an illusion? Blaming MS is like blaming the WTC for not being secure enough. How come the plane didn't bounce on it or something? How come a plane destroyed a building? How come fire killed civilians? etc., etc., etc.
    If you were president you would have blamed the WTC instead of blaming the terrorists. They would call you the terrorist-friendly president.

    Here's how to remove the W32/Minda@MM worm

    Delete the registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur re ntVersion\Run\macrosoft

    Restart the computer

    Delete README.EXE from the WINDOWS directory as well as from the root directory of all local drives.
