Well, when you now have a new movement of flat-earthers and moon landing deniers, it makes me scratch my head to wonder what 600 years of science was all about? I mean, to these people its as if those 600 years of science don't even exist. That the sacrifices of Galileo, Copernicus, et al. didn't mean a thing. You have a guy who built a rocket in his backyard for 10's of thousands of dollars who is going to ride in it to prove the earth is flat, when all he had to do is buy a southwest ticket for $49, hit 35k feet and see that it isn't. People are fucking nuts and we are entertaining them without beating them back. We are allowing the lunatic to run the asylum.
This stupid trope that Trump supporters or Republicans/Conservatives are dumb is nonsensical twaddle and really needs to stop. You think democrats/leftists are paragons of intellect? Really? Your comment only cements the idea that you are about as shallow thinking as the comment you made. It's easy to say, it's easy to think. It required very little intellectual brainpower to formulate and insert into this conversation.
In this case, the article and the ensuing discussion is that Google's AI says being a homo is bad. I wonder if they are going to fire it for speaking such heresy against the dialectic? Especially if you are a homosexual, redheaded, lefty jew.
Sure, it's as if 600 years of scientific discovery mean nothing anymore. I am sad to see this kind of discussion taking place. Irrational, shallow thinking drivel interspersed with pseudo-intellectual dialectic and it all adds up to a big fat nothing.
Until someone discovers a way to change the wind patterns coming off of the west coast of Africa that birth the winds for hurricanes in the Atlantic, then this is a moot discussion. Also, no one talks about the hurricanes or cyclones in the south pacific or the eastern portion of Asia. It's as if they don't exist unless they are being covered. In fact, I dare say that a 12-year absence of any meaningful hurricane to make landfall in the US is being treated as if hurricanes are brand new phenomena and people are running around like headless chickens.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say the indoctrination and inculcation of Giaist dogma have fully rooted and bloomed. A true shame to see any of this. Scientists and pioneers of science no longer with us must be shaking their damned heads at how it's gotten to this point. It's as if we have entered into a period of a new scientific dark age.
I don't see how. Lowes accepted the transaction and delivered the merchandise. A clear transaction occurred even though there was an anomaly to it. No one at Lowes thought to say, "Oh, we have a problem here?" after nearly a quarter million dollars of merch goes out for free? Yes, deliver it, sign on the dotted line you received it and have a nice day. I'm not seeing a problem here at all.
This story simply proves a subtle observation I've had for a long time, in that laws are written to protect one thing, not the people that law falls onto, but to protect the wealth/money of the state. NJ was pissed they didn't get the tax money from 250K worth of merch and sent out the money enforcers to reclaim it. Not out of an act of goodwill against some bad people who took advantage of a loophole in a system, but one which saw the state believing it was being robbed instead. Laws ranging from Murder to Jaywalking all have one singular thread in them all; to protect the stream of money into government coffers. That's it. This story highlights that to me in spades.
Was there a reason to inject politics into this conversation? Just shows what kind of shallow thinker you are. BOO!!! Conservatives hiding in the bushes watching you at every turn, you paranoid delusional lunatic.
With one exception, a progressive tax system, which hurts the wealthy more than the poor.
I am yet to see a "hurt" wealthy person. Sales tax, lower tax on investment income, and some creative accounting more than compensate for the progressive tax system.
That's because you don't understand how tax law works. Otherwise, you wouldn't have made such an ill-conceived statement.
Policies like these mirror things like anti-2A activism. People telling you what you need or don't need. The government can already compel you to buy things like car insurance or health insurance or be penalized. Just like anti-2A activists and policy makers in Congress telling non-felonious citizens what they can and count own, how much, when and why. It's abundantly apparent that the FCC making the suggestion of what a citizen needs/wants or doesn't want is simply more of the notion that the concepts of liberty and freedoms are really a farcical notion that the creatures in DC laugh at you over. They know the story, they know the game. They are willing to screw you because they know they can. How they do it is the theater.
Google has taken a stand in condemning this ex-employees views. So, in reality, his memo was fairly accurate in that Google's diversity policies only apply to gender and breaking stereotypes, but not diversity of thought. The board sent out a condemnation of his views, so in essence, they are telling anyone and everyone who wants to work there or work with Google is to conform to their regressive groupthink or be dismissed, blackballed, or ignored. While this falls under the umbrella of commercial speech. It is amazing to me the sheer mass of the leftist thought bubble that exists in the Bay area. It's literally a leftist groupthink zombie region. If you dare speak outside of the dogma you will be shamed and ruined.
No, it's worse than that. In effect what Google has done now is migrate SJW dogma's from university campuses into their organizational fold. This has been a long running fear that regressive SJW/Marxist progressive movement would, like a virus, move outside of the host body of university culture and migrate into professional corporate culture. This email and response prove that this has happened. And before any of you start to laugh, this will migrate beyond the confines of the Bay Area SJW/progressive bubble and spread.
This isn't about diversity, this is about groupthink and how dogma's can be instituted as a function of commercial speech vs. political speech without repercussions.
I work for a medical device developer in San Diego and we interview interns from all over the country and the world as a whole. We are very selective about who we want to bring in as an intern because even though we know many of them don't have the skills yet, our company is a training ground to give them those skills. They will learn things here that no other company would dare teach an intern and in doing so they will be heads and shoulders beyond their classmates when they return. We also pay our interns. We pay them entry level engineering salaries for the time they are here.
What they get from being an intern here, they will get nowhere else. They are thrust with levels of responsibilities that entry level post graduate engineers get and they thrive because of it. We've built a very good winning formula for our company as a whole and it's paying off very well for us.
My dad told me once that government can fuck up a train wreck and over the years his adage has come to true on many many occasions. In this regard, the question is a false premise. The real question should be, how can the government get out of the way to speed up internet speeds? At least on the federal level.
While reporting and advocating an assassination play against Trump couched as Julius Caeser and didn't blink twice, but they call this violence against journalists? Please. Also, I find it hilarious that they could find this guy in a matter of days, but they are still looking for evidence Trump colluding with the Russians 8 months later? Ted Turner is facepalming himself at what his news network turned into. TMZ has vastly more credibility than CNN.
By the way, their blackmail has most likely netted them the wrong guy.
Lower the price and also remove usage restrictions so that usage goes up to relieve the system. The whole thing is preposterous. Not only is solar taxpayer subsidized, but now it's excess is being subsidized too. Idiocy upon idiocy.
Health benefits by employers were used as incentives at one time based on how well they were as a recruiting tool. Now they are basically entitlements since they are state by state enforcement inducements for them. There is a reason why Europe is in a serious decline and you stated it as government doing the rest. That is the antithesis of the American system of responsibility, accountability, and self-governance. I as an individual citizen am responsible for my own healthcare and health maintenance. Not government. What are the inducements for me to do anything to care for myself if government/tax payers are there to pick up the tab for my bad habits and behaviors? If I want to smoke, drink, do drugs and suffer the ill-effects of such behavior, who's responsible for making sure I get treated for treating myself so badly? Me or everyone else?
This is the fundamental nature of the argument for universal healthcare. Why should my money and my work be responsible and used for other people's bad behaviors? If I screw up, that's for me to cover. Not government.
What should have happened was that the franchise should have gone forward into the future, say 500 - 800 years or so. Have maybe the descendants of prior Star Trek heroes in the show. Show a federation that is basically galactic in scope with alliances with the Borg and new technology like taking a Borg transgalactic hub and positioning it around Sagitarrius A as means to power it and transwarp speeds are no longer confined to ships, but now extend to people. Literally people can walk into portal doorways from one end of the galaxy to the next.
You can make it so that the latest antagonists actually come from The Large Magellenic cloud and have found a way to tap into the hub system and invade into Milky Way space. But nope, it's back to the future.
Russia has been doing this sort of thing for decades. This isn't a new occurrence. What is really glaringly obvious though is that people believe that Trump colluded with the Russians to change the elections. Not only was that untrue, but House Reps and Senators have known this for months and have said and done nothing to the contrary. They've let this kabuki theater play out in the way it has. A total waste of time and I wish Democrats were simply honest in saying that their entire agenda now is making so difficult for Trump to work with them and legislators. What is even more glaring than that, is that this happened on Obama's watch and no one seems to even lift an eyebrow over it. The double standard hypocrisy is neck deep if not more.
I think Trump and the American people are owed a huge apology from congress for letting this go on for so long without an iota of proof to the contrary.

Fat, lazy heterosexual women, just end up fucking desperate black dudes who like fat, lazy heterosexual women. Problem is solved.
I can deal with someone being an asshole as long as they are an honest asshole. I'm an adult. I can deal with it. It's dishonest shitheads I detest.
Well, so much for keeping your phone locked anymore from government snoops.

No, the answer isn't to move along, but rather to move out of these privacy invading shit-holes.

Sure, because the totality of his body of work all leads up to that one WWE/CNN video.

Still fapping to this fantasy? Fap harder.
