I just read an interview on IGN yesterday with Nintendo of America's vice president of corporate affairs Perrin Kaplan. He hinted that the DS would have some fancy features other than just the dual screens. Good to see that there may actually be meat behind this little handheld.
It does make sense to be sending someone to jail for this. I know of many people who have made huge use of his products though. LAN party I held two weeks ago would have been much more dificult without the Razor hacked version of Steam (For Counter Strike) since we weren't able to keep the internet connection up.

How did Warcraft III end up on the top ten worst games to avoid? I guess it might incite hatred of Orcs.
The bigger question though is how did Warcraft get ranked higher than Postal 2. Postal 2's goal is to cause as much havoc in the world as possible, whereas in Warcraft III you form alliances to end the world's wars.
Ummm, the very defnition of a laser is that the light does not spread. All the waves are parallel. Sure the light spreads a little by hitting dust, etc. But overall the beam will have the same radius thousands of kilometres away. This is how they are able to bounce laser beams off of the moon.
I'd think Sega would sue Rockstar first. The taxi driver missions in GTA are a whole lot like Crazy Taxi, all that's lacking is jumping cars and annoying Offspring
Heck, any name is just as bad. I'd take just as much offence to having my software called adware or spyware. And I know just as well to avoid both terms. Good thing Ad-aware removes both Spyware and Adware
I strongly doubt that the linux kit will work. Besides, wasn't the jist of the linux kit the hard drive? The PSX already has one built it.
I don't think this'll be modded nearly as much as the articles suggests. This isn't messing with a $199 PS2, We've got a $500+ piece of equipment here. I'd be awful nervous to go soldering away in there.
Perhaps we have to start suing the moviemakers. Watching "Fight Club" is surely enough to make a few guys to want to go out and do some serious violence. On average the most violent movies are far more violent than the worst games. And movies show real people committing the crimes, not 3d characters.
Everyone was so quick to judge Grabbed by the Goulies, saying that it was just another example of how Rare is falling to its demise. But no one ever considers that it may just be fun to play. It looks foolish, But who would have thought that Banzoo Kazooie would have been so absolutely fun to play-it looks even more generic. Give the guys a chance, you may me glad you did.
I love playing in Arcades, but unfortunately I just don't see the reason why anyone would go to the effort of saving their game to a memory card and taking it to the arcade. Why not just play the game that you already own from the comfort of your couch rather than standing feeding loads of quarters into a machine?
Although I'm sure that gaming has helped me relax many times, there have been far too many times when I should have been studying, but just got stuck in the "just...one...more...level" endless loop.
Instead of banning these people from the game pernamently, how about creating a special server for those who have more "creative" inclanations for the game. Would create a much more realistic enviroment for everyone who plays on those servers.
I'm one of many who's life has been seriously affected by this disease. All that I feel right now is a huge sense of relief. Great job to everbody who helped to end it all.

Sadly Broadcom 802.11g cards are not supported officially in linux.
However, check out Linuxant's Driverloader It loads the Windows driver and allows it to drive the wifi card in linux.
In fact I'm using it right now - great stuff. Although I don't know how you would be able to integrate it into a Knoppix CD

This has probably been said again, but there really needs to be a Mod option for First Posts that aren't actually the first post, say -10 or so
