Everyone knows that Iran will not return the drone, and they're in that right. The US politicians will just use this as an excuse to escalate things and drive us closer to another unwanted war.
People need jobs because they provide an income. Now some people might be out of jobs, and there might not be enough to go around, but when they bitch about this, we tell them to get a job. Ridiculous.

Are we forgetting that the Koch brothers funded a separate study that pretty much confirmed the results? Crazies will be crazies, but I don't expect reasonable persons to be swayed by this.

I'm off to the store to buy a couple of boxes of DVDs and blurays and I'm going to start giving them away to people I know and ask them to pass more forward. I'm going to pirate like there's no tomorrow because even when I try to play nice they want to screw up the internet. We gave them all the tools to do away with what they deemed inappropriate use of their works and now they want more. No more Mr nice guy. You asked for it. I hope you guys do the same. You still have to make a Steam account if you buy some retail games. It's just DRM, and while less intrusive than most, it's still horrible. I can't even give my old games away, which is crap, since I have friends that would usually take my old games, now they don't get squat.
How will Palestine becoming a state affect Israel, or its existence for that matter? At least with statehood, both states will have defined borders, which will put an end to a lot of the conflict. The extremists in Palestine only have support because they have no other way to gain leverage in negotiations. This will put an end to that.
When the other side cowers and concedes everything without a fight, it's safe to say that they are in charge. But let's face it, we all know that the ones in charge are corporations and the wealthy.
An all-powerful, all-knowing being would create perfect beings with free will at the very beginning unless he was some kind of psychopath. Else, he is not all-powerful or not all-knowing. And also there is no difference between micro and macroevolution, or what barrier is there for macroevolution?
Considering significant destruction of portions of human infrastructure, nuclear winter, and all sorts of other fun side-effects of detonating a group of these bombs, I can see how we could potentially end all life, or at least all known life, on earth.
Now I wonder if people will use it. Maybe if someone produced them to order instead of having to build it yourself, they would be good. Especially since it might end up being a lot cheaper than an iPod touch.
