The problem with what you're proposing is that the federal government is NEVER EVER effective, when it's shown in the past that it has been effective when it's being ran by people who actually believe in the job that they're doing instead of being run by political stooge boobs.
Compare James Lee Witt with everyone after him who's been in his position. There's been only 1 administration over two terms and there's more than 3 people who have been in the job he had no problem handling for the previous administration.
It's clear though, that the states can't provide healthcare to those who can't afford it, there's no profit in doing so, and that it's a herculean task so large that non profits NGOs just don't have the resources to combat. So, the healthcare crisis is then taken up by the federal government.
It's a case of the Federal Government doing what is, "necessary and proper" as dictated by the constitution.
no, Romney's religion has nothing to do with the fact that he's an asshole and for that reason I won't vote for him, however, those no the far fringe christian coalition right are going to have a problem with tha.t
I voted for Harry Reid. Now there's a mormon with a colorful past worth voting for.
No one's going to the NBC site and thus sitting through ads to pay for our online venture.
I think that it's partially because of the way the content looks zoomed in. Compressed Flash Video never looks good, atleast whatever encoding Apple was using made an effort to look good when viewed up close.
Article 3: Games should not be subject to bad voice acting. There's thousands of decent local and community actors across the land who'd probably love the experience of doing some voice work. Failure to do so earns the developers a punch in the balls. Developers who claim it was "intentionally bad" get second, harder punch. It worked for Katamari Damashii.
Like I said, the Client Logic Albuquerque folks were about as useless as a cardboard hammer, so I guess it just was area to area. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.
When I worked for Client Logic in 99/2000 or so, we had a Dell contract... and so did Stream.
and guess who we had the most problems with? It's funny how these things work out. Although to be fair, the Albuquerque office for some other OEM we worked with were a bunch of crackheads who couldn't figure out much...
I've been bittorrenting Top Gear for the last three months. I don't know why. It's just strangely interesting to me, to see English yokels set fire to trailers and seeing that shaved ape Jeremy Clarkson powerslide Ferraris. But the quality is *horrible*. I'd rather have DVDs. I won't bother until they're out in R1, but that's not going to happen.
If we're talking consumer products, great! Yes! I have the right not to use them. However, if the document I had been handed wasn't written by my opensource alternative I chose, I'm kind of screwed. Particularly with Microsoft also pretty much in bed with Governments, both the Federal, state and all levels of local municipality, selling them umpteen number of licenses for Office and particularly Word, they do have something of a responsibility to make sure that documents that are created by our own government are readable by the general population. Now, I'm not talking about military secrets here, but if I do a FOIA for some data and I get a word document back, that's really not useful now is it? (Yes, I'll probably get a PDF or actual paper, but it's possible if that's what the document was stored as.)
Why does it matter? It's a dying format. Even if people jump on now, everyone's scrambling to get away from HDDVD discs! The real news will be when BluRay players are 150 bucks a pop.
I don't know about that case, but don't you find you actually *miss* some of the defects? No, and I don't miss that rattling my Ford Taurus made when it hit over 65 either.
I had this experience over thanksgiving. We had our relatives over and while I'm not a sports fan, some of them were. So they wanted to watch some football game on our high def set.
The picture was kind of fuzzy and they didn't know why, and it wasn't until I flipped the channel over to the High def feed did they finally see what the ruckus was about with highdef.
Which is a complaint i have with the cable co. For NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC, PBS, etc, I've got a local SD feed, a local digital SD feed, and a local digital HD feed. Why do I have the same show in 3 different formats?
Yeah but the president signs off on those bills, PLUS, influences policy decisions within his/her own party concerning nearly everything.

If the title "Commander in Chief" isn't a leadership role, I don't know what is

Ron Paul took 15% in Nevada.
Saying he took 2nd in Nevada is really forgetting that Romney dominated this largely mormon state.
that explains the 18-0 record for this season.
I don't think Buster's had a chair thrown at him just yet.
I remember working at an office that was hit hard by I Love You.
Document formats are a big deal to me now.

How else am I going to steal their wallet?
they don't have a DDR or any game made after 1992. Why bother? Classic gaming can suck my balls.
Sounds like a case of cyberfatigue.

It's hillarious.

For Trek HD, they went with all CGI special effects and took out the old model based shots.
I have friends who are still on 56k.
A vast majority of America's still on 56k.
It might be the future for the rest of the world but the future in America is store bought content.
Star Trek TOS: The Complete Series is on DVD/HDDVD hybrid.

Drummania players have been doing this for years with a Yamaha DTX or similar. Just plug it into the usb socket.

Hey! Back in 1999 or so I had gotten a GREAT deal on a DIVX player!
