if after paying for mobiles, books, computer games, power bills, dentist, etc. there is still money left, i could bye a dvd or go to a movie.
not everybody has - unlike mpaa - more money she/he could spend, so the numbers of lost/stolen money is ridiculous...

Went back to win 7 aswell. Classic Shell is nice but not a 100% replacement (for me). I liked the win 8 copy dialog, which i got for win 7 with terracopy. The task manager was nice too. Being unable to run the market apps in a window, the awful get-everthing-into-the-cloud mentality... Maybe I should be start saving for a mac:)

2.) while beeing on this job it would be really nice to have a drag-and-drop photogrammetrie application without uploading all my pics to autodesks 123catch or microsofts photosynth.
i can't say anything about UI improvements on newer HTC devices but i liked the job they did on the HTC desire over the stock. there were lots of small but very useful changes. seems like a long time ago...
trim for ssd (without any fuzz) and working usb3 drivers. (btw for the can't upgrade because of...: universal restore works perfect on virtual machines. just sometimes problems with the oem serial)
I really hope microsoft isn't getting a serious market share in the arm business.... if you have to install windows on customers machines, lot's of reboots you get fed up (windows mobile so far - a disaster!).

why can't i download a windows cd with all the upgrades? bad luck if there is dell, hp, asus, etc. on the serial number sticker? fuck you, microsoft
...i went into a shop because i wanted to buy myself a new samsung galaxy s3 phone. when i unpacked it at home i realized that i got an iphone 5. they made it look like a samsung phone because these sell like warm rolls...

I think the patent system is fundamentally broken. Isn't it that patents should help you to give birth to a vision (not trivial things), without being stolen/copied from competition? So you get the patent, manage to produce the product and sell it, that's OK.
But if you screw up your patent, you can't deliver, your company goes bankrupt, etc. it would be good to delete the patent and make it unpatentable, open for everybody !

As 2nd step could be an eclipse app to develop for android under android... For me android feels like a content consuming environment but not as much a contenct producing/productive environment... Hope you get what I mean.
Would be very nice to have a native arm accelerator as a pcmcia card, which could be used to drive the google avd's in the emulator. For $30 I would get one immediately !
"3d in a web browser" development is a very big opportunity in my opinium. ok, many cpu and gpu cycles wasted, i don't care... the only question is: how long it will take until i can walk in google earth in 3d within a city? give us photosynth for everybody, right now (not on a server), just take a video and make it 3d (still no app for kinect, easy to use and free for 3d reconstruction for everybody). and that is just the beginning... what cool new features will follow??
android 4 with it's ros/java integration (hope they include some pcl features aswell) is a step into the right direction.
could they avoid the microsoft fee for any sold android device if they use webos as an operation system with android compatibility? i got a touchpad and have to admit: webOS is really nice. the apps which exist are excellent.
o.k. they made a small tablet, but in my opinium that's it.nothing new here...

A thinking and grown person is clearly able to distinguish between video games and the real world. If i think that my beloved first person shooters could get forbidden then i want to take my railgun and lower the percentage of lawyers who obviously can't do something good !
apart of using a big, high resolution display it would be nice to have a common user experience on android. ALL vendors should include the bluetooth hid stack (yes i'm talking to you, htc), and please: a wireless screen connection (i want to use a big screen at home, not just dlna).
this would be on the wish list for my next mobile phone (so i can get an ebook reader instead of a bulky tablet)...
with this included i will happily wait for the apps to evolve...
