    And Beastie Boys' latest CD made the best sellers list even with DRM. If the consumers continue to buy crap, they will continue to sell crap.

    I have this CD and had no issues ripping it to MP3. I believe the DRM was only in Asia and some European countries.

    I was listening to the commentary on one of my Simpson's DVDs and Matt Groening speaks briefly about this. He says that in the early episodes, all the actors were recording in the same room, laughing at each other's jokes, and improvising.

    Now, they all record seperately at different times. I think this is one of the reasons for recent lack of fall-down laughing humor in the Simpsons.

    I'm running Gentoo on an AMD64 3200 system with kernel 2.6.5 and the latest 64-bit nividia drivers. I get a rate of about 2200 fps with glxgears, so yes, they drivers are working just fine.

    I was referring to Windows Update. We have about 300 machines and 15-odd laptops at our company. We have frequent problems with Windows Update causing web-apps to break.

    We use HP Remote Insight Boards on our servers. It lets you control the server (keyboard, mouse, CD-ROM, floppy, power) completely independant of the OS. I can't tell you how much time it has saved me being able to reboot our machines from the comfort of my living room.
