Start biking after work every other day or so, even visit the gym twice a week. It is amazing how much better you end up feeling the whole week (and how much easier it is to fall asleep). If you still have issues, then buy a bottle of melatonin. You can find it in practically any grocery store by the vitamins or just go to wal-mart. Get a bottle that has lower doses per tablet. This way you can take 4 around 9pm and you'll be out by 11pm at the latest. Or if you're still wide awake around 1am and need to get to sleep, then pop 1 to knock yourself out and not be extra tired in the morning.
I've been taking melatonin off and on since college and it works very well. And it's all natural and non-addictive, blah, blah, blah...

  7. Outlook busted on Windows XP SP2 Still Rough Around the Edges · · Score: 2, Funny

I installed SP2 RC2 on my machine at work to test it with our latest application we're building. While I only had issues configuring my firewall to allow port 80 traffic, it did kill my Outlook. We are required to use Outlook so I don't have any choice on swapping over to Firebird or any other alternative, but anyway...now I only have a 10 minute check for email from our Exchange server. If I want to check for urgent emails I otherwise need to shutdown and restart Outlook over and over. It gets very not fun after 3 hours. I suppose I could remove SP2 for now, but who knows what kind of effect that would have on my workstation.

Also I seem to remember some old guy in one of the towns in Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest who sounded a little fruity when asking you to come back to his place.

Sweet computer. The 486 SuX. Same thing that I had when I was back in early high school.

Loved playing cooperative Doom over dial-up, getting pissed at windows 3.1 and just running DOS instead (best thing for a kid to learn about computers is running a command prompt). I was always perplexed by the 'turbo' button next to the power button on my machine, though. I swear it was just a led that lit up and that was it. It's not like it would super-charge the fucker in any visible manner.

I loved that machine and wish I still had it for playing all the classics in their true habitat.

You bring up something that got some wheels turning in my head. Ala carte internet access. Some point in the future you can choose certain internet access "packages" or choose which major sites you would like to have access to for a flat monthly fee. Say you wanted the news package. You'd pay 9.95 a month for access to 50 or so major news websites. Or you could just go through a catalog of websites and choose which ones you want for like 50 cents each a month. Part of the payment would go to the website, most to the ISPs. Kind of like ordering a subscription.

Just thinking out loud. I like my internet access just the way it is (but could be much faster).
