I'd rather just fire up my NES again then shell out more money.
The only time I'd buy a remake is if it got significant improvements, FF7 comes to mind as a game every nerd wants remade.
I got a T-shirt in the mail for getting into sony's beta rewards program or something or another.
I've lost a lot of weight since I gave them my shirt size though (which I don't remember doing), so it's too big.
I really want a self driving car. Not for day to day driving, my commute isn't that bad, but I hate being bored out of my skull driving through buttfuck, nowhere to visit relatives. Hours upon hours of nothing to even look at, being able to do something else would be amazing. Not to mention, there's so few cars on these roads, that I doubt an auto driving car (assuming it works at least somewhat well) would hit anything.

Consensus is pretty much "No, you're an idiot", so thanks slashdot commenters for saving me time.
When UPS says I'll get a package "on Friday", I've had it show up as late as 9pm, if at all.
When USPS says I'll get a package "on Friday", it's always exactly at 4pm.
I prefer consistency.
Anon, to my knowledge, has no central authority and no real leadership. Saying they did it is about as vague as saying the internet did it.
It's very possible the hacker(s?) were part of Anon, but if so, so what? If anything, that makes them look worse...
I personally see Anon as a group of stupid kids online, are you seriously admitting that kids could take you down? That's pretty sad.
"very carefully planned, very professional, highly sophisticated criminal cyber attack"
I'm sorry, this doesn't exactly scream anon. When I think of anon I think of idiots who spam memes. I find it sad that Sony still doesn't have a clue who broke into their systems.
Nintendo, please, please fire whoever keeps naming your systems, and bring back whoever thought of the name "Revolution", that was 1000x better than "Wii"
"Others think it might have something to do with the console's high price ($250) and the lack of big-name titles available (Mario and Zelda are not yet out)."
I'll be honest, I got a 3DS. I played it for a bit, got bored, and tossed it aside. The main issue with it is a lot of the freeware either assumes you'll bump into other people with a 3DS, and NO ONE has one, or is far too short to keep a long term attention. Other main problem is a lot of the features you'll try to select, and you get "Will be added in a future update." After what happened in Japan, I have a feeling that future is quite a bit off.
Honestly, I think they should have held off the launch a few more months, I can't remember the last time I've seen a release this weak.
Unless they changed it since I had a wii, it doesn't store your credit card number.
Which frustrated me some, since typing in a credit card number (especially with the wiimote) every time you wanted to buy something was a pain.
Because they're the middle man. I want to buy game A or I like games from company B, but sadly I need to buy sony's hardware to play said games.
I'm not going to care about stuff like this, because I want to buy/play/support company B.
I just realized the subject should say are, not aren't.
And yes, I agree wholeheartedly with chrono trigger being remade/getting a sequel, though, didn't it get a DS remake?

BBC reported on this as well: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-13372982
My apologies, I read that as a snarky remark, work was troublesome yesterday, I didn't realize it was a suggestion.

I was more leaning toward getting some extra work done or playing video games, but thanks for the 100% useless response.

Sony's headquarters must be built out of this stuff.
As if a dog bite didn't hurt enough, ouch. I almost feel sorry for whatever prisoner is on the receiving end.

Sure, my brick has very few uses, but no one can tell me I can/can't use them.
Maybe Turkish doctors are more friendly, but in the US doctors would never bother themselves to go to the patient...
It's free, the word free confuses Apple to no end.
2-3 hours? Mine lasts at least twice that time.
How long until we get a story about how someone totally empties one of these without paying for a single one?

...I really hope this guy kicks Sony's ass.
Hopefully, in 50-70 years, when kids today are old and in power, they won't be quite as bloody retarded when it comes to new technology.

I had read news articles warning me about this a week ago, good job keeping your users informed Sony.
