Especially with the increasing ISP costs/bandwidth caps, no freaking thank you. I'd prefer to pull my data from a hard/external drive without my ISP eyeballing/charging me for it. And hey, then I don't have to worry about CloudCompanyA going out of business.
The only thing I want is a mouse that doesn't agitate my wrist with prolonged use. Motion controls tend to agitate my wrist more so than conventional controllers.
I don't see it as any different than these diet pills in the states. Both are killing people and they know it, but they don't care if there's a chance to lose weight.
"Pittman was suspected in an earlier robbery at a Subway restaurant."
"Sun Food Store on 62nd Avenue S" is what he tried to rob with the game controller, article doesn't say what he robbed the subway with.
Come on, the article is about 10 lines, you couldn't even get that right?
...is the fact that I can't transfer a game I had bought right before the shutdown to my PSP, because I'm not signed into the account that bought it.
I really wish they would at least put out a dummy sign in of some sort so I could have some control over the content I paid for |:
If a blu-ray player wasn't built into my ps3, I'd never touch the things. I still usually only buy DVD, all the blu ray discs I have are gifts from family that know I have one.
It's all about costs, DVDs are cheaper, and in an economy where every dollar counts, guess which one I'm going to buy if I feel I have to buy one?
Our current school system discredits creativity, and forces everyone into the same mold. Arguably, this mold is 100% useless in the real world, especially in a world that requires any innovation.
"there's no US federal law that requires the reporting of requests for stored communications data"
This is the only problem I have with this. If they want to look through my logs, fine, but I want to know what they're looking at and why.
And while I don't expect it in a million years, it would also be nice to have the power to tell them to fuck off if I don't want them looking
According to the stats, Windows users tend to pay slightly less than Mac users, and half of what linux users pay.
I expected Mac users to pay a lot more than either, since they're used to paying far more for something than it's actually worth.
Read through the posts on that link, it's disgusting how little they actually understand about the suit.
I could probably be pegged as a sony fanboy, but even I'm not that bloody stupid, what does that make these people?
I've had issues with my wrist for a few years.
The thought of being able to work/play grindy mmos without having to agitate my wrist sounds wonderful. (But bad too, because I might get addicted again)
$7k is absolutely unreasonable though, hopefully in a few years and with a competitor or two it'll drop down to something your average guy can buy.

That people are surprised by this.
I'm sure Anyone is relieved, and he can use his apple devices without worry, but what about the rest of us?

I thought this was going to be a story about a grand opening of a store that is completely computer run.

"Sony there is no hacking & cheating on XBL not that I have seen any as of yet"
I've heard/seen plenty of it, get your head out of the sand.
...the guy who /actually/ downloaded it, is laughing his ass off right about now.

I'm sick and bloody tired of jumping through hoops for people because they refuse to upgrade their systems...
I buy a $1 game to amuse me during lulls at work.
I buy a $60 game to amuse me at home/weekends during my free time.
I am NEVER going to replace one with the other.

"not a complete solution"
Nor is it a realistic solution for most of the world.

Many LOLs were had.
"Students in the Maryland study also showed no loyalty to news programs, a news personality or news platform."
So, students are actually taking news from sources on all sides and making a decision from themselves? How is this a bad thing?

Ahh, thank you for the correction then.
Struggling on almost a 200k salary? That's pretty sad.
I'll tell you what, lets switch salaries, then you can call that struggling.
I'm going to picture Lex Luthor screaming that every time I press this +1 button now.
