If it will be like any other upgrade on campus, a likely candidate for the G5 may be housed in The Math Emporium. Any other freshmen hokies on here going there, or perhaps reading this thread from there right now?:-)
For some of us that still uses the traditional sundial or just don't wear a watch at all, we will continue to stick with the traditional speedpass... if we had one that is.
This is the iPod killer. For pretty much the same price, it plays mp3s and it also plays divx, xvid, and it has its own screen to play it on. And it's only twice the thickness. (Did I mention it was almost the same price as a 20 gig ipod?)
Oh my flight to Hawaii I sat next to a cute girl that was from Michigan on her senior class trip with her choir class. I have to say though she was the ONLY cute girl I have ever sat to on a flight. Good thing it was a 5 hour flight.:-) But I didn't have an iPodmini...:-/
The new iPod will be a cooler conversation piece when you site next to a hot girl on the airplane and your new iPodmini has the same color as her favorite color.

It's good to see them remembering the old school application such as talk. I myself remember the good old days of talk and getting those request sessions. Ahhh, how those days were so innocent and there were not any porn bots around in the system.
Nice to see that the boys and girls at MIT likes Britney since "Baby One More Time" was number 4 most request song last week. Just can't get enough of Britney on the LAMP!
I went through the first three pages and I didn't see them mention anything about how to ground yourself or keep yourself grounded. Simple step but quite important and easily overlooked. Yet, this simple step could make your computer dead real fast, real quick. And you wouldn't even know it until it's too late...
When I was growing up I took piano lessons at a piano store where they had the MT-32. I used to come in early and play around with it. I have always wanted because of its great sound and sequencing. It's a great little device.:-)

The Sony TR2 (japanese) has 802.11 a/b/g + bluetooth and it has a max memory of 1GB with a 40GB HD.
