Or why not ask your physician who, I would think, knows a bit more than a writer who does the bare minimum of research, if any, to meet his deadline.
Perhaps you should read back through Ben Goldacre's blog and see what else he's written about the MMR scare - this is something he most definitely does know about. Oh yeah, and if you read his biography you'll see he is also a medical doctor.
Developer lock in. You get to use their (admittedly good) IDE to develop your product for free, but you can't go on and sell it unless you then buy the full version of the software. That's not actually true: from the FAQ:
Can I use Express Editions for commercial use?
Yes, there are no licensing restrictions for applications built using Visual Studio Express Editions.
This application is better in that it collects all the relevant information into a zip file (including a stack dump), and helps the user to e-mail it to you. It works in C/C++ (Windows only) and doesn't require any third party involvement.
We use it in a deployed product and it works very well.
..they enable tag/update/diff/etc. by date on a branch, add a special tag like HEAD but for a given branch, and keep track of when branches have merged so that you can actually keep 2 slightly different versions in sync.
CVSNT is an actively developed, native port of CVS to Windows, but which also runs on Linux, that implements at least the first and third points here. I'm not sure what you mean by the second.
Have you tried using mutt to bounce the messages to Gmail? Such messages should retain the date attributes, as well as sender, destination, and other such goodies, assuming Gmail doesn't mangle this stuff (and I don't believe it does).
Yes, the headers are all correct, but the date that Gmail displays is the received date at Gmail so if you do a mass import, all your e-mail is sorted as if it was sent on the date of the import.
Hollywood felt that the story just wasn't good enough without a love story (LOTR not a good enough story???), so her character took over other parts, and new content was created for her. New content created from nothing when they are having to chop out so much due to time constraints????
There was even pressure to make her part of the fellowship that the director and cast resisted.
I think you're talking about Arwen rather than Eowyn here.
What they do provide is ready made installations of various operating systems you can just install, although you have to pay for these (well, the MS ones at least).
I agree that PPPoE (note the 3 P's) is not the most elegant solution, but it is perfectly valid to have smaller MTUs. It is peoples' firewalls that are broken here.

Silverlight is planned for Linux: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070507-mono-developers-to-bring-silverlight-to-linux.html
SPF is not actually the silver bullet you think it is.
It just might be a joke...

Where exactly does the right to travel anonymously come from? I tried to look up the 28th amendment, but couldn't find it.

no@no.no would be even better though.

My understanding is that the CVS repository is a read-only export of the BK repository to allow non-BK users to access the historical data.
The attacker modified the raw CVS repository.

No, VMware runs unmodified binaries.

What is a release candidate if it is not something that is considered possibly ready for release?

Check out the detail the BBC provide about their servers and network.

Too right.
Not that you're actually buying anything from Google anyway.

438?
No, it's a projected TCO over 5 years. Read the article.

Linus has never used any source control, just patch and diff, up until BK.
Many of the subsystems, e.g. mtd, have however.

Care to say why you think Linux sucks?
(Not a troll, just interested.)
