Doesn't Sprint share the Clear services for their WiMax capabilities? I can attest to the lack of bandwidth restrictions (on 4G at least) by 193GB usage since November!
It would be quite a stretch to say this religious man is any way trying to claim to work on breaking computers.
I don't know... Listening to some of the expletives around the office, I believe many people are invoking the help of a deity in hopes that their computer issues don't wreak havoc on the work they've done so far.
I'm attending Florida Institute of Technology right now - they have an online program for some majors. I'm getting my BS in Computer Information Systems. Research I did before selecting this school: Does the diploma have "online" written on it ANYWHERE. (no) Is the school ranked? In this case, FIT is ranked by US News and World Report - not the highest but not the lowest either. It also did pretty well on the ROI report published by Business Week: http://www.businessweek.com/interactive_reports/bs_collegeROI_0621.html?chan=bschools_special+report+--+buyer+beware_college+degree:+buyer+beware. Did the college start off with a physical campus, and then add the online extension later? (yes) What you want is a school that offers an online degree in order to attract students from across the country, and not because they can't afford an actual campus.
Same here. Going for a BA in Business Admin (w/CIS focus).
Those were some of the questions I asked when doing my own research. I had considered UofPhoenix, but was turned off by the style of classes and teaching methodology UofP had. I also knew people who went there and their experiences justified my decision.
It was twenty years since I took any college course when I elected to go to Florida Tech (FIT) Online. So, I didn't quite know what to expect. I even got some ribbing that online classes will be "easy A's". Well, they're not. My first class, Philosophy, was the proverbial "trial by fire". I had a bastard of a professor (who has later earned my personal respect) and dealt with having 1500 word essays each week. I struggled with all of that excessive writing and eventually passed that class with a 90.56%.
Online classes may seem easy, and in fact, many tests are "open book". However, if you did not read the assignments or view the lectures, about the only way you can maintain a high grade is if you already know something about the subject. Many of the multiple choice questions require a knowledge of the material to answer correctly as more than one answer for a question "could" appear to be correct if you didn't understand the subject matter in detail.
I discovered that at my age (in my 40's) that I have a much more mature attitude toward my schoolwork and can understand and tolerate the need for study. I'm in my sophomore year now and holding a 3.83 GPA (got all A's and one B so far). I didn't "ace" anything. I struggled for almost all of the 4.0 grade points I've earned, even taking extra credit assignments when offered, then having barely broken the 90% barrier on each class.
Sadly starting a fire or tripping a breaker won't work very well for anyone in IT, they'd just be stuck at work over the weekend making sure everything was working (or in the case of a fire, building new servers with no time to sleep or rest).
Or they just go work for the company that cleans up the aftermath... Fùck'n "A"!!!
Given that my significant other is moving in with me, some "adjustments" have been made to my single-Engineer lifestyle..
This past week I delivered unto the philistine clutches of the local Electronics Recycler:
Six Amiga 1200 Computers; [14 MHz MC68EC020/2MB/120MB EIDE HDD] Four Amiga 3000 Computers; [16 and 25 MHz MC68030/18MB/105 to 400 MB SCSI HDD's] Two Amiga 4000 Computers; [25 MHz MC68040/18MB/250MB SCSI HDD's] Five Amiga 4000T PCBA's; Two VideoToasters; 1 Moniterm Monitor;
Are you bragging or trying to piss people off? I have an empty shelf in my hoarding room just crying for an A4000 and 1200. I can't even win one on eBay and you're tossing them out....
Walmart is already looking at a few proposed locations on Enceladus. The clientele might look a bit strange compared to Earth based customers. Expect to see scores of people in pressed shirts and pants, conservative jewelry, and clean shoes.
Maybe a cappella, no lyrics or remix versions of the songs, but those would most likely just be pirated just as as the main music files too.
Maybe versions of the song before the vocal track was processed with AutoTune. When people get to hear the real "talent", the record companies won't have to worry about music piracy ever again (or sales for that matter).
.....is not because the service provider wants to "encourage" you to sign up for a two year contract, it's because of all the stacked tech licensing fees.
That's just about right, but you forgot another point.....
The IE choice is a large, attractive button with the word 'Yes' on it. The Firefox choice is a hyperlink in x-small size, off to the side, starting with, "No thanks. I'll try the other one".
So what did I do? I stopped going to the office. Almost all of the work that I do can be done via VPN. At home, I have a full office, with a door, all to myself. I find that I get a lot more work done at home than I ever did at the office.
I bought a $300 HP printer that printed horribly dark pictures directly from the built-in card reader. It used their new Vivera inks and I expected better.
When calling HP about it, someone named John, with a horrible accent, from halfway around the world (I'm trying to be politically correct now...) told me that the inks that came with the printer are "starter inks" and are not designed to be used to print anything. They were supposed to be used to flush ink placed in the printhead at the factory that kept the heads from being dry. He said I should buy an entire new set of inks and he'll be "happy to take my order right now".
What a crock of BS!!! I was able to get pictures to print just fine when I printed from software and not from the built-in card reader. It was a poor excuse for poor printer internal software.
I decided to keep the printer because it has features I like, and I was still able to print decent pictures using my own methods. I have since then bought 3rd party inks and they do just as well as the official inks.
We now know the Sun boils and splashes like a pot of hot chili on a stove. Now, who's going to clean up the cosmic stove top of all the solar splatters?

Bit.ly is 168.143.172.53
Can you shorten that IP address for us?
There will not be a single dedicated area to show off the exhibit. Instead, the exhibit will be scattered about in separate rooms called copybooks.
They just have to stop everyone else from getting access to diamonds, which would cause the price to fall.
Or just stop buying diamonds...
Screw up their supply by eliminating demand. Also, enforce July as a "no-sex" month so we don't have people being born in April.
We only come up with crude versions of a technological idea...
The Japanese roll all of our technological breakthroughs into perfection and spread it around the world.

any more than someone would need to explain what a "hydrospanner" is.
That one is easy. It's nothing more than a garden hose nozzle with a conically shaped spray.

Unfortunately for the article submitter, there are no ATSC VIC-II chips in production...
I see there's a new VW project on SF.
SF???
Speaking of which, I just got a letter from her lawyer. The divorce is final!
Hold on to the letter, it might be worth something someday....

Maybe so, but he could at least have ended his message with, "P.S. Frost Pist!!"
That was already done by David Byrne in the Once in a Lifetime Video at 3:53.

Shoer, from the article, mentions colonizing Mars and then the colonists revolt.
That scenario has already been depicted in the game Terminus, including some realistic newtonian flight physics:

It was a Metric pizza

Well, at least STEREO proved that phrase wrong.
