    on the last weekend of September. Every year, dozens of people ask me about printing guns. This year I will be putting a sign on the printer that says:

    Attention Firearms Enthusiasts:
    Before you ask...
    1) Yes, this machine could print a dangerously poor quality gun that would probably injure you if you pulled its trigger.
    2) No, I have never printed a gun.
    3) No, I won't print a gun for you. Don't bother asking.
    4) Please don't ask me about printed guns. I have no interest in the subject.

    Does wire and steel age in a large generator? Do the bearings give out? Does it cost too much to clean the blades periodically and filth accumulation on the blades makes them less efficient?

    How is this different from false color generation based on tissue density? Do different tissues fluoresce (different wavelength out than the one coming in) and this thing detects the spectrum of the fluorescence and assigns colors on the display accordingly?

    My wife has had iPhones for the last 8 years or so, and she has always had to keep charging them throughout the day and every time she gets in the car. I don't think she uses it any more than anyone else, she almost never actually makes a phone call, and she doesn't facebook all day (at least I don't think she does).

    The purpose of this device is to make it easier for the phone company and the police to keep track of you so the data can be sold to advertisers, or worse. They should pay you $700 to let them put it on your car.

    The companies who present me with shit contracts know exactly what they are doing and don't need my feedback to know they are trying to screw me. They had lawyers draw the contract. They will get respect when they quit trying to screw me.

    And empathy for machines? Gimme a break! We don't even have empathy for other humans. It isn't hard to find examples. Very recently, some extremely non empathetic people, using some quotes from the Bible as justification, have been ordering other people to take kids away from their parents at the US border and lock both the kids and the parents up in separate locations. Other non empathetic people have been following those orders.

    How hard is it going to be to find someone in a position of authority who will think it's a good idea to arm robots and let them decide to kill (there has to be something in the Bible about that), and how hard is it going to be to find people who will build and program those machines?
