    that's like saying shopping at costco is useless, everyone should have mom and pop stores, not mega malls, and we should all be using small hard drives , you know, less than 512 kbs...

    bigger is better, get used to it... if you like small networks, you can always develop a small channel on efnet.

    anyway, my question:
    as piracy was only shut down for a few days after operation buccaneer, do you think that piracy will ever cease? every copy protection to date has been cracked (minus online cdkeys, for online play) ... should others continue for the same reasons you did? would you go backto help?

    ep2 includes fees from wed (yes, wed... the day where people who won tickets from a radio show like radio 104.1 and others) and thursday...

    two days more than what spidey had...

    the press releases are just trying to beef up star wars... less people saw it on any three out of the 5 days it opened this weekend.

    i think the only thing that matters now is how many drives you need.

    ide is now faster, but has been limited to the amount of ide cards/motherboard you have...

    granted, with the new abit max boards coming out, with 12 ide devices, that's not a problem...

    if you need more than 12 hard drives, when you're building a perfectly NEW system, i would use SCSI... if not, just go with the 'new level' of motherboards coming out, and smack some IDE drives into the case....

    now if i could only get a better power supply for all of them.

    it's not like the people who goto children websites have ads AIMED at children... hell, the slashdot banners are aimed at geeks (thinkgeek anyone?) ...

    why is this a problem, when it's a service, for free, which is OPT IN ONLY. yes, people have to talk to the bot first... it's not like they HAVE to click advertisements, they just get a message about it...

    like text will get them to buy cheeze it's anyway.

    so me, being the copycat i am, i did the same in my local paper... in BIG bold print, i wrote, LAST CHANCE TO SEND YOU $5 TO ... THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME YOU SEE THIS MESSAGE TO GET IN ON IT JUST SEND IN YOUR $5!'

    i got about $750 ... but again, i was also 6 years old... i had a hell of alot of fun with that one.
