Cash is also great when you're trying to hide income from the IRS.

That's why they're in the process of banning cash transactions.. It's not clear to me just how they plan to implement it, but i'm aware of several attempts to word proposed legislation to at least get us *started* in that direction. In my country, this takes the form of a complete tax on *every* transaction, including barters.. It'ds not fully implemented yet, and has been drawing fire from people who have noticed that bogging down an economy is a poor way of livening it up.. However, the "Stimulus through taxation" movement also has at it's core the desire to control every transaction.. even at the level of tapping into the underground economy.. I'm pretty sure that the budding (pun intended) drugs legalization movement by, of all people, the 'conservatives", has at it's core, only the observation by those concerned that "sin' taxes amount to 50% or even more of the retail price.. It's not a public movement at this stage, but expect 2012 to be the year that it becomes so, at least as per what I have overheard in passing. I really don't think there's any harm in making this known..

Bayer.. it was their next "wonder drug" after Aspirin.. and they *have no rights to enforce*, any more.. as the name, just like "aspirin" did, entered the public domain years ago.. They still make, and sell it though, and in europe you can choose it instead of methadone, which, actually is a pretty poor painkiller for an opiod, but the only one of the opiates where the withdrawals , also, can actually kill you.. And the premise of the original post is correct, in that if one takes the same dose of methadone at the same time each day, by the end of the week there is a real possibility of fatal overdose. That makes the current push to increase methadone use all the more despicable.. for both acute pain management (which is *never* indicated), and for maintanence. Where I live the number of "addicts" on methadone maintenance has increased by 30,000 % in the last 20 years. Most of the new ones on that program are hardly out of their teens, and a huge percentage haven't even got a history with opiates, but rather pot and stimulants, such as speed or crack.. Methadone for 'Pot Addiction" . are you kidding eddie?

Better start shoring up construction standards now to deal with active weather, and grow or farm crops and / or foodstuffs that can survive an extreme environment. We can survive a harsh climate.. but we should plan for it now, instead of expecting our representatives to legislate for the common good. They're not going to.. it's all about "what's in it for me?", unfortunately, and the time wasted waiting for these elected "representatives" to get off the pot could cost us our lives. For instance, where I live it's usually super rainy all winter.. but for the last 2 years it simply hasn't rained. At all. And the year before that we had the worst flooding in years...YaDig?

They were still joint British/Canadian prooductions too, back then.. lotsa folks think it was simply a British series, but it wasn't in the beginning.
