Optical discs? Isn't that some crap from like the days of dual floppy drives. Cold storage? How come they gotta keep the storage cold, doesn't the refrigeration cost a bunch? One Terabyte? Is that all?
Isn't this one of those things where they make a product with an emphasis on security, and then as it gains some popularity, people want more features, more functionality, and so they start adding those features and functionality, and then they just start turning it more and more into Android, and then the security holes and malware problems with Android start to appear in Chrome OS, and then the advantages that Chrome OS had vanish? Isn't it one of those things? Is it really impossible to just have two different platforms with emphasis on different strengths? I think the marketing people are doing this. I blame them.
This is how Gaston Glock got in the handgun market, a contract for a new sidearm for the Austrian military. I don't know handguns. All the makers have compact models now, and it seems like Glock took over the American handgun market some time ago. What do you think the chances are the US military switches to a polymer sidearm?

The intro to the first Fallout game features a television commercial for a car called the Corvega, with no electronics and no computer for only $199,999.99. In a world on the verge of nuclear war, or one on the verge of computer security catastrophe, sounds like a steal.
Why is all the stuff broke? Why does all the stuff have holes in it? Why isn't there any stuff that isn't broke? ARM processors from now on. All this stuff is broke.
If they fix the UI, then they fix 90% of the problems they had selling Windows 8. I don't know what IT departments opinions are of the spyware features in the OS. I'm sure they can find a way to configure it to their liking. Does a uniform UI across all devices translate into sales of tablets and mobile devices however? I am skeptical. The iOS and Android trains left the station a long time ago.
