You need to check your facts, Devs from Obsidian were involved in all the titles I mentioned. If you've actually played NWN2 you'd know it's utter crap.
Who the fuck are you telling me who I can or can't critique? The fact is KotOR2 wasn't finished & I wasn't happy about it. The fact is I haven't really been happy with *anything* the guys who currently make up Obsidian have done since PST, IWD or FO2.
Fallout: BoS = completely broken unless you apply nearly a GB of patches.
Baldur's gate: Dark Alliance - sucks
KotOR2 = broken & not finished
TES4: Oblivion = is nothing special.
NWN2 = sucks.
They've lost their ability to make fun games & are coasting along on name recognition alone.
Yeah, I've basically told everyone I know (I tend work on their PCs on the side either for free of very, very cheap) that if you upgrade to Vista I won't even talk to you about your computer unless it's to (legally) get rid of Vista.
I still don't understand how having 20,000 students in a school as opposed to 2,500 is supposed to make things any better. It's specious reasoning to me.
My rural highschool was 3-4 times better (in nearly every metric) than any of the public schools in the nearest metropolitan area. We also had at least 4 specialization (Law, Health, Business & Agriculture) programs that I can remember. You may laugh about the Ag specialization, but you'll stop when you see how much a golf course technician makes per year. My Jr. & Senior year I had a PC on my desk & was taking business classes. This was about 11 years ago.
I have no idea why you'd want my (potential) kids to move back in to a shithole of a city. Or why you think that it would be some kind of silly magic bullet to fix the education system.
Yup. A good friend of mine just switched over to Ubuntu. He had a few problems at first but got everything running smoothly. His last email to me, bad grammar & all.
"Who ever they are(the programmers) they are doing a great job. If I had to buy something and my choice was between windows for $1, and ubu7.10 for $2 I would spend the $2."
Yeah, Foxit is awesome. It handles printing large documents (C size & up) much better than Acrobat ever thought of. It also has a much smaller memory footprint.
I just searched for it on Amazon & it's selling for more now (used, auctions? not sure) than it did when it was brand new. I think I got my copy from Best Buy for $19.99.
... the customer is always right. (Because they are spending the money.)
Ditto, but I'm only 30 so what do I know, right?
... a press release with an API. Way to really put your foot in your mouth again Ballmer.
Translation: We are fucking scared to death here folks.
To paraphrase Denis Leary:
"They can have a big DRM cakewalk
Right through the middle of Hollywood & Vine
and it wont make a lick of difference
Because we've got the cash, OK?"
I don't buy anything with DRM, neither does my family & I'm still working on my friends.
I love me some fl0w.

Fucker.
That's why I'm hoping for a complete game this time, cause it's not Obsidian. If it was there wouldn't be a chance in hell.
Any O/S?
Maybe they'll actually put out a complete game this time.
Even better, "A Maze of Death"
The original poster inferred it thank you very much. Do try to keep up.
... the big ISPs are so short-sighted that they are their own worst enemies when it comes to things like this.

Class Actions are mostly to smack the company so it will stop doing whatever it's doing.

You can, but it usually hurts really, really badly.

Well, that would be a big problem for you & not me.

...doesn't care if we are swearing. As long as we aren't swearing at each other in (too much) anger.
But it's normally the customer we're swearing about.
So it's a take-off of Arcanum then?
