    Also worth pointing out is that Bredbandsbolget (www.bredbandsbolaget.se) has started to deploy 1000 Mbit installations, the first (and only?) is available in Lund (south Sweden)

    if he/she's looking for disk performance he/she should be looking at maybe 0+1 or just 0 (with nightly or hourly backups, of course)

    what about running raid 0? that would make the game data load much quicker from the drives

    not sure how long loading times doom 3 have, but battlefield 2 is horrible when it comes to loading data :-/

    operas email client works quite nicely

    haven't tried opera 8 yet though (still using 7.x)

    ps. if you ever think about switching, do! apples Mail is wonderful. not the fastest but it works oh so nicely :)
