He saw the price and wanted to place an order but the manager of the computer section stopped him saying he "really didn't want to do that" the next day they reneg on the deal...... Sounds fishy to me. he placed to order anyways and has since gotten his card without any major hassle....of course he also works there and had access to certin phone numbers that the rest of us don't. He just had to call someone a bit higher on the food chain who knew that he knew what was going on and that he could blow the whistle so made sure he got the card at said price.

you sir are correct. I own a 50 cal rifle among many others and I love to shoot them. as a matter of fact I am going in about 5 minutes. so because I own a firearm does that mean I am going to go and kill a bunch of people off? no I think not. 90% of all gun owners are very law abidding. the people who go and get guns to commit violent crimes are getting them from illeagal sources not(expections have been noted) from stores that required you to wait 7-10 days.
Criminals get illeagal guns that are imported(A.K.A. smuggled) from china, cuba, mexico and others. just because a gun can be used to kill someone doesn't mean they should be banned. a crossbow or, a bow and arrow could also be used to kill should we ban them too? what about baseball bats? they have been used to kill gotta get rid of them also, and don't forget about kitchen knives, they also must go away.
Don't you see that line of reasoning can be used on damn near anything? once you start down the road it is a slippery slope to travel. first they start on gun owners then slowly move on to all of the other things that are considered to be "BAD" or "Evil". what happens when they come for the things YOU enjoy? well what then? 60%? um no you are incorrect. the largest reserve of oil on the planet is right off of the texas coastline. it is called the Gulf of mexico, and it is basicly one large pool of oil. we (the U.S.) have just not gone out and tapped it much. why else do you think that mexico imports so little oil themselves.(no proof on that one. only the word of a friend who lived down there for 18 years)
One other untapped(or surveyed) area of oil is siberia. that frozen land has vast ammounts of untapped oil fields.
the middle east has about 60% of the oil Market . Not of the known oil reserves.
I have to say that slow-mo bullet dodging is NOT the end all. I mean it looked damn ass cool when whistler grabbed that G41 and cut lose at one of the Bloodpack. all the pack member did was a bit of fast action breakdancing and all the rounds missed. that was pretty f---ing cool, because it showed that the movie didn't need to depend on the FX from other movies, instead to could develope it's own twists on things. on a side note I noticed that "Romeo Must Die" used a pretty cool x-ray thing to get in some good FX in the fight scenes, even if the rest of the movie sucked. just goes to show that FX do not make the movie. the movie as a whole makes it or breaks it, and I think that Blade II makes it in it's own interesting style.
I didn't think it was THAT bad, geez. Ya it had some problems but this isn't the kind if movie you go and see for a plot, you see it for some good FX and lots-o-vampire-Asswhoopin. That is what the movie had, technology and science be damned. It wasn't made to be on the plot line level of say brotherhood of the wolf, or Braveheart, it was made to be as it was. The next time you go to see a movie, try to have a realistic expectaion of what it will have, and it will have what you are expecting. Plain and simple...
take your own advice on learning how to play. many maps there are no choke points. An open map is a map where a person cannot play an effective defense game. if the only maps you play are ones that have very small choke points then I'd have to say that you're a narrow minded player as those arte the easist games to master.
try a game with strategy, like cossacks. a few cannons and cannon towers and it can be very hard to grunt rush. I know I tried a gruint rush yesterday and lost about 5,000 of my 6,00 attacking troops. on the up side I really hurt my opponents defenses, but that was all I did. in order to win (and I did) I had to use a mix of complex strategies to lure enough of his troops away so I could punch a hole in him.
I couldn't agree more. I once polayed an SC game where I was pusjed back to an empty corner of the board, BUT I wn in the end because I had mined soe F'ing much money that I was able to bilud and pumpout units like CRAZY!!
The only game i have ever seen that tried to make it alittle harder to do a super Grunt rush was cossacks. They keep increasing the cost of barracks each time you build one. makes it very hard to have more than 5( no that is not much in a game where you can have armies of 10K+)
when my ISP decided to block ALL inbound mail coming from Asia. the spam dropped from 30 a day to FOUR. then under pressure they opened back up and now I am getting 50+ !! *sigh* I hate spammers with a passion. A good friend decided to start spamming from his computer to promote his new business, so I Dos attacked him until he stopped:) after all thats what friends do for each other.
what Ms should have done is simply allow people to play the XboX. then if sony filed a complant they could point and say "they are breaking the rules too" Futhermore if this is one of those "uninfoced Rules" then why the hell didn't MS take the chance to throw out some of thier XboX's for others to play on. it would have been a much better move to make as it would not have left such a bad impression of the XboX(why did Ms force Sony to leave? can't they handle a competitor?).
