oh I don't know about that one. I mean you got the basics right, but I am NOT into all the CGI movies, I just don't see the attraction. I thought FF sucked big ones, long slow and boring(tho I think most good movies should be longer) and Shrek...well we won't go there:)

Damn Skippy !! I myself haven't been in an online game in oh prolly bout 3 years now. LAN only here baby!! we even setup a few house rules just to make sure no one tries anything brainless (a few of our other players are...um, questionable at times) like "cannon-expanding", or "grunt rushing".
Interesting games are much more fun to play than the typical 15 year-old "I rush you, you rush me, we're a grunt rush fam-i-ly" type of game.

No you wouldn't, However they are also doing this FOR A LIVING, as thier primary income.. where as those developers are oft times doing Open source development because they ENJOY IT. it is not thier primary means of income (most of the time anyways)
prolly closer to a "Normal" ship. I saw a proto ship the french came up with a few years ago and was VERY similar to a normal one, witht the exeption that it had alot of wedge angles instead of standard rounded edges on it. then again it was only made a a Partial-stealth and ours are used for special forces/navy seals and need to give the max stealth possible for silent insertion.

Of course a mere $500 to $600 bucks for a fan that does exactly what my current 50 dollar one does. sorry but the noise and other issues just don't cause enough of a headach to make me go and spend that much. hell thats as much or more than my WHOLE SYSTEM costs. damn! if my processor takes a dump because i have it undercooled than i'll spend the 200 bucks to buy a new one plus a better heatsink/fan combo.
Your right about EQ, Mt buddy has totaly dropped off the radar becasue of EQ. he has been kicked out of college and is about to loose his job, about he doesn't even know cause he hasn't been out of his house in over four months. now THAT is addiction, baaaaad addiction. hell he won't even stay on the phone for more than 5 minutes, and forget answering the door that would cause him to get up from the comuter. the rest of us are thinking of going over and killing the power at the breaker than beating the crap outta him and taking away his computer. Even forcing him to go back to work and class, maybe we can break his habit.....

Damn right you can become addicted to almost anything. I kicked a cig habit of only one year by be coming addicted to gaming. not sure which was worse, with the cigs I got my college work done but my lungs hurt. Now with gaming my eyes hurt and I don't always get the work done, gaming takes longer.

I have kept upon the "WAR" alot since its beginningand there are about Five Telephone lines that are of high enough quality to support internet service coming in to afgan, all from pakistan. even the service providers are in pakistan. the odds that this guy was able to hookup to an ISP within mere minutes,or hours after the Taliban left are about next to zero. Not that i am saying it couldn't happen just so damn unlikly that it is unbelivable, I mean really guys, stop and look around at who is posting this story......
not to mention that all the phone lines and other basic infastructure have been pounded for years, by first the soviets, than the Tech hating Taliban, followed by the US. I truly doubt there is anything beyond basic power left.....However I do acknowlage that I could be wrong, and if I am good for the Afgans. but I don't think so.
first the kind of info they are wanting to destroy is not super sensitive in nature. It doe snot include the presidents motor route. the things we are talking about is simple information, nothing life threatening. however what is to stop them from doing what Nazi germany did and start outlawing other forms of information ??

UPS will and has gone to court over the smallest little thing so as not to pay out. they can and will spend 50 bucks so they won't have to pay out 25. I totally agree, the Only CD I have bought in the last two years was IRON Madien's "Brave new world" and that was only cause they own their own Label so they get at lest 80% of the cash. I hate being told to buy X's new cd that has only ONE f@#king track that i would even call half@ss good.

1) yes a moon base, THAT is critical
2)start funding these projects to develop advanced drive systems.
3) start funding advanced MATERIALS research. without the new alloys a small speck of dust/rock will blow a hole in the hull the size of you head...maybe larger
4) USE these new and mostly untested systems.
we have fallen into the wave of more testing is good testing. this is not always true is we test for ten years then where have we gone ?? Yes we will have a very reliable system, one that has still not been tested in the rigors of real space travel. use these new methods and fix the problems as we find them.
If these ways are the ones used we could have a base on mars in 20 years or less. look at what has been invented in the last 20 from crappy computers in `81 to the faster crappy ones of today. we have the tech and the ablity to get this done so what is holding us back ?? We are, and for no good reason except Fear of the unknown.
same here, I had none.....not one single piece of spam, then over night i was recieving over 300+ PER DAY !!! i quit using it after a while. just three days ago MS sent me an email asking me to cleanout my in box as I had not touched it in over two years and it was completly full. they were concerned because they coouldn't send me any ads for s[pecial promotions A.K.A. more spam. what the hell ?? i quit using your @ss so i wouldn't have to deal with it and now they want me to empty my box that i don't use so they can fill it up again?? they really are stupid are they ?
