I'm not sure you understand what the word "theory" means in science. I'll give you a hand. From (eeek) Wikipedia:

"In scientific usage, a theory does not mean an unsubstantiated guess or hunch, as it can in everyday speech. A theory is a logically self-consistent model or framework for describing the behavior of a related set of natural or social phenomena."

"Theories" are built upon "Facts". "Intelligent Design" does not even reach the level of a "Theory" because it is not based upon facts, but mere conjecture.

Yeah, the machines are delivered the day before election day to the polling places (firehalls, schools, etc) by moving companies. Election Judges swear oaths enforceable under rule of law. Moving companies or anyone else who happens to wander in to where the machines have been left, well, no (but you don't have to swear an oath to be found guilty of tampering with election materials, of course).

That's pretty much SOP around the country.

I work as an "Election Judge" every election (they used to call them "Poll Workers". Each year the county hires hundreds of average people, gives them a couple hours of training, and they are the ones who set up the machines, check for ID's, handle the list of registered voters, etc.

Me, I'm a "Machine Judge." I get to the polling area in the morning of the election, the machines are already there, unassemblede. I check the seals, and set up the machines, activate the machines for the voters during the day, get the results out of it at night, take the results to a central location.

Low paying? Not where I live. I get $250.00 for the couple hours training and working on election day at one precinct, which is not bad.

It's well looking into. Take a paid vacation day, get $250 over that, and be the one who protects the democratic process (at least at the precinct you are at).

They need geeks who are computer literate. You should see some of the geezers try to set up those voting machines. It's sad.

Send it "in the cloud". WTF does that mean? "Internet" maybe. What a sales drone.

"Send it immediatly back". WTF does that mean. I guess their version of "immediate" means "after a human has dissected the malware, we will patch it using 'the cloud'"

I am not seeing anything new here, except that they brag that their wares sends info about your machine back to their 'labs' for analysis and future patches.

If you sound so bad you need a studio to make you look good, you shouldn't be performing in the first place.

    Wow, how parochial.

There are bands whose very sound was defined by the studio, and whose sound is very intentionally pristine and over produced. Impossible to create anywhere outside the studio (I'm thinking Steely Dan).

Then there are artists who do entire albums, with them playing every instrument (Steve Winwood comes to mind). Again, impossible outside of a studio.
