Seems to me it would be just the opposite. No wireless, no lan. Just stand alone machines. The only way they could be hacked would be by physical contact with each machine.

  4. So it flooded but didn't get flooded. Neat.

    Yep. That's Sci-fi vs. Sci-fantasy.

If it bends the rules of science it's sci-fantasy, not sci-fi.

Yep. Not to mention when it destroys lan drivers. Then you're stuck with finding the old Mobo software to reinstall the right one since you're no longer on line.

I dunno. Depends on how fast the plane was going.

  12. When 3D hit originally (about 60 years ago) it was cute but no cigar. Today the only difference is you need a special tv and expensive glasses.

  13. I dunno why thin is in. They do it because they can? Show off their "brilliant" technology? To what end? Seems to me it just makes them more prone to self destruction.

  22. Re:Obligatory Pentax Fanboy Comment on Canon Unveils EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR (canonrumors.com) · · Score: 1

Actually been shooting with Pentax since the early 70's. For me, runs rings around canon and nikon. K20 rocks. K3... actually not as well as the k20 for me. And their new full frame is supposed to be amazing. And of course, they're all built like tanks. The problem, I feel, with Pentax is... they rarely advertise. So most folks think they're a low end piece since they never heard of them.
