Seems to me it would be just the opposite. No wireless, no lan. Just stand alone machines. The only way they could be hacked would be by physical contact with each machine.
Yep. Not to mention when it destroys lan drivers. Then you're stuck with finding the old Mobo software to reinstall the right one since you're no longer on line.
I dunno why thin is in. They do it because they can? Show off their "brilliant" technology? To what end? Seems to me it just makes them more prone to self destruction.
Good things? Like what? Phone bills quadrupled almost over night. As far as media consolidation... kodi is making inroads so they have a lot to be worried about.
Actually been shooting with Pentax since the early 70's. For me, runs rings around canon and nikon. K20 rocks. K3... actually not as well as the k20 for me. And their new full frame is supposed to be amazing. And of course, they're all built like tanks. The problem, I feel, with Pentax is... they rarely advertise. So most folks think they're a low end piece since they never heard of them.
Let's see... 5 bucks for a mirror... 500 for a camera. Sure. After all cars are cheap. What's another few hundred bucks. And who wants to spend 5 bucks for a replacement mirror when they can pay 500? Plus installation.
Think Tinkerbell. Made her famous.
Umm... this is slashdot, right? ;)

So it flooded but didn't get flooded. Neat.
Yep. That's Sci-fi vs. Sci-fantasy.
If it bends the rules of science it's sci-fantasy, not sci-fi.
Sad he seems to be only remembered for sci-fi.
Went over like a lead balloon back in the 50's. (without a special tv) No clue why they thought it would go today.
Sounds bigger. ;)

I dunno. Depends on how fast the plane was going.
When 3D hit originally (about 60 years ago) it was cute but no cigar. Today the only difference is you need a special tv and expensive glasses.

Murphy will eventually supersede Moore.
Just sayin...
Yup. They aren't laying off workers. They're laying off someone's customers. Eventually someone will lay off their customers.
Yabutt that still doezn't explain Penny.
Just sayin...
On the other hand, parts for making ONE phone would be $250. I find it hard to believe that price remains when you're talking millions of phones.
No. It's actually the same size. Just closer. ;)
How do you "quickly" put out a battery fire?
Good things? Like what? Phone bills quadrupled almost over night. As far as media consolidation... kodi is making inroads so they have a lot to be worried about.
Me too. There's an air bottling factory next to the magnetite factory that bottles some amazing stuff.
Just as safe as bottled water.
