They all have flaws. Use one for this, another for that. One has neat add ons, the other has crap. 9 jillion browsers out there and none of them do a decent job.
That would mean that anyone that mines anything anywhere has no right to it? Earth or space. What's the difference? Used to be any country that landed on a newly discovered land claimed it as their own. Why would space be any different?
Problem with that is the shows themselves are built to x amount of minutes. Seems to me they really can't cut them unless the shows themselves are produced a bit longer. Last I heard, the average sitcom was actually 22 minutes in length.
Very true. Problem is, it's addictive. (Go ahead. Try to stop using it) Not to mention it tastes good. If it's not added, most foods would just sit on the shelf and rot. Kind of a catch-22 for the producers and the customers.
I installed 10 on a laptop. When setting up it gives an option to opt out of auto update. But... auto updates anyway. What scares me is that I learned long ago not to install most optional updates. Video drivers usually don't work. Lan drivers usually don't work. For the lan, you have to dig out the mobo software and reinstall it. Then get on line to get video drivers. Not fun.
As far as the 8 metro screen. How is it, after all this time, no one seems to know how or even that you can shut it off. I didn't like it. I disabled it. The only thing 8 screwed up, IMO, is the start menu. Which classic start fixed. Of course, 10... removed it. So here we go again.
Back in the day his name was pronounced "J-oh-bzzz". But that's neither here nor there. Was he a techie? Not really But what he should be credited with is his marketing prowess. He was a marketing genius. Very few could even come close to his brilliance in that respect.
You can't be serious. Reality took over and it will never go away. Why? Probably costs 100k to put on one episode of a reality show. And it cost 100k+ to pay ONE actor in a real series. Kind of a no brainer for the creators.
Thing is, why is there "car" tech in the first place? What's wrong with running a steel cable to control the gas pedal? Computer controlled brakes? Sure. That way no one has to learn how to stop their car anymore. But, in time, some hacker will stand on a bridge, hit a button and all cars will "go fast, turn left". When there is no left.
Used to be everything got smaller and smaller. Then they realized... no, people don't really want or need small. So then everything gets bigger and bigger. No where else to go so they decide to make thinner. Why? Sorry, that's beyond me. But if they make it thinner they can't have a replaceable batt. And it seems more and more companies are pushing the thinner and not really stating you can't replace the batt.
Agreed. On the other hand... what plane can't tolerate a drone strike? Not really up on drones but seems to me the vast majority are smaller and lighter than a lot of birds. Bird strikes obviously aren't good if they hit an engine. But outside of that I'm trying to figger out what the major problem is. So did the drone encroach the planes airspace or did the plane encroach the drones airspace?
Years ago I learned never to trust MS with hardware updates. Don't know how many times a graphic card or lan update from them pretty much disabled the graphics card or lan.
There will come a day when some clown, nut, terrorist, whatever will stand on a bridge over a highway and push a button on his remote. And all cars will speed up and turn left. When there is no left turn. Computerizing creature comforts in a car makes sense. Computerizing, engine, brakes and things that can kill you... well, what are they thinking?
Since global warming is pretty slow. Gotta speed it up somehow.

Ah, but win 10 is actually 9. So 11 will be 10. They are screwing with our heads! :)
Dear Lord, why?

What does the picture have to do with the info? It's the camera that encodes it.
Still gonna have a Canadian IP.
If you have a US prime account you can stream anywhere. Uh... unless you leave the country. Can't stream in Canada with a US account.

I thot they already had that. Aren't they known for going and going and going...
Yabutt George Orwell would be proud.

Hate to say it but seems like 80% of what he proposes actually makes sense. As opposed to the 20% of what the other candidates say.
Still no cigar. And to make matters worse, if you had classic start menu installed... it removes it.
3d printed cars...

Years ago a journalist reported the news. Today... no such animal. Just reporters giving an opinion.

He's the real man behind apple. After all, he's the creator. Jobs only marketed it. (But he did do that well.)
