  1. Ok, now what are the required HW specs? on Doom 3 Reaches Gold Master, Due August 5th · · Score: 1

Great! It is finally being released. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it won't run well (if at all) on my P3-933 with a GF3. Does anyone know what the minimum or recommended hardware specifications will be?

  2. Prior Art on Clear Channel Buys Patent For Instant Live CDs · · Score: 4, Insightful

As far as prior art goes, the patent looks exactly what thousands of churches do every service, record to CD and cassette. Bigger churches actually mix the sound, make special tracks for special events within the service. Now wouldn't that be a nice media circus, big bad CC goes after America's churches, synagogues, and whatever-else-have-you.

So you gotta be a capitalist before the FBI will help find out who is attacking them ? That doesn't sound right. The FBI helped ETG back in August. Before this issue, I didn't realize ETG was a cash cow capitalist.

What if the FBI is letting the Entertainment Industry do this on purpose, to one by one destroy all the warez swapping networks/mediums. As all the people migrate to the other networks, it is very easy for both the FBI & the Entertainment Industry to join in (pose as swappers) and start keeping track of who is swapping what, and eventually bust the bigger fishes.

Of course, I did eat green eggs and ham this morning, so my view of the real world is slightly distorted today.
