Good luck getting an unsupported driver to work on any os.
Most of the time I install hardware in WindowsXP I get a message about unsupported drivers or something. I don't really care what the message says, I always just click 'OK'. I haven't had too many problems.
I'm glad you made it with a broad sword. I got busted for one of the little tiny swiss army knives that only has the toothpick tweezers and sissors on it.
I caught our local access channel with a powerpoint error. Same type of message as your's however it informed the user powerpoint has encountered and error and needed to be restarted.
Try to stay with me. I belive that Novell/Suse will _NOT_ be purchased by anyone. Not IBM by the previous posts about their patent portfolio. I believe that with the Ximian and Suse purchases Novell is looking to position themselves between Microsoft and Sun. Novell will integrate NDS with a client and server version of Suse and then position Evolution as the perfered Groupwise client, thus becoming a direct competitor with Exchange Longhorn / Outlook. The Suse client side will be a competitor with Windows Longhorn Workstation and the Sun Madhatter desktop. IBM will continue to team with Novell and Novell will "recommend" IBM hardware in the server room and on the desktop. Thus having and end-to-end product line like Microsoft already has.

I'm sorry, I guess I should and qouted the parent before poting the link:
"Who wants to own a device that requires a monthly subscription to work to its maximum potiential. Does any one know the cons to the guide + service?
I took this statment to mean he did not know there was a guide for MythTV, hence the guide plus remark. As for Tivo Vs. MythTV, I am currently debating that. From the thread it seems it is ~$250 for a Tivo and $300 for the lifetime channel guide which is $500 that I do not have. If I can build a MythTv box that will do Picture-in-Picture and be comparable with a $250 Tivo for less than $500 and the only feature it lacks is the Season Pass then I think I did pretty good job.
I also do not watch hours upon hours of TV, my main use would be recording the 4 to 5 TV shows that I enjoy watching and the 2 or three that my wife watches. The TV in our home is turned off for 18+ hours a day and some days is never turned on except to watch a DVD. Mind you I am just starting to research the differences and mabye I have missed a feature that I cannot live without which is why I am looking into all alternatives including Freevo.
MythTV has an XMLTV plugin to download and give you a tv guide. http://sourceforge.net/projects/xmltv for some reason the orignal site [membled.com] is not responding as i post this.
Probably, however my "system" is one that anybody with common sense should use. I play with no more than $35 dollars and leave the building when it is gone. No one I have told this to can figure out why I have a high winning percentage.
I will normally only play nickel slots. Appearently (sp?) I am the exception to the rule because on average I win atleast twice what I start with. Only twice of the ten or so times I have gambled have I lost.
That sounds like where I work. I get a "disscussion" about overtime even if I only have 1 hour. I am the entire IT department, which I have found means "I fix anything that plugs into the wall". During the holiday season, the IT department closes and I become a salesman (retail). I tag and receive merchandise, run transfers to our other stores, work on the server, phone system, POS system, thermostats, pencil sharpeners, printers, and wrote a small piece of software they are now using.
<sarcasam> I have learned that the best network equipment is made by DEC! </sarcasam>
Well, at least the job is easy now that I fixed everything they thouht was an emergency.
I don't particularly like those things. Good technology, but simple reason is the groceries are marked up to pay for the employee scanning and bagging your groceries. If I scan and bag my own groceries, I want a discount.
I signed up for an MSN IM account (free hotmail included) and immediately received 225 spam mails in two days. Also my hotmail account is my last name which is unique due to swiss-german origin. The only way I stopped the spam was turning on the highest level of spam filtering provided by MSN. Now I don't receive any mail, partly due to the fact no one has that address.

Is just my observation, or are there way too many stupid people in the world?

I have only seen the movie once, but has anyone figured out what OS Seth Green is using on all those Dell's?

Should that not be "Define Irony"?
Sorry... actual "title" = Manager of Information Services.
