I've got this 32 oz coffee mug I carry around with me, everyone who knows me knows it. Up until 11 it's full of coffee, after 11 it's full of water. But I gotta say, I always have an after lunch meeting of some sort or another and they always have either the dew or the doc, doc takes precedence.

When I give personal info to FB or Google or whoever I make the decision to do so, and I know what I've told them. When the telcos vacuum up my info they grab everything without even asking.

I'm fat because I drink too much. Why I drink so much I don't care to talk about. But I do aerobics for 1 hour 3 days a week, and ride a bike for an average of 30 minutes 3 days a week. The problem isn't the alcohol I drink, the problem is I no longer give a shit. We won't mention the bike rides are to get another bottle of Vodka.
My only issue is my cat. She has food for a week, water for 2 weeks, I like to think if something bad happens that's good enough. Assuming she learns to drink from the toilet, a behaviour I have yet to see her do (got her last July, after my cat of 15 years died June 20). I guess it's kinda sad I care about my health only because my cat could be negatively impacted because of it.

I've been around for, jeez, 38 years now. I'm really good at C, C++, Java, RTOS systems, embedded systems, device drivers, talking to hardware in general, and meeting avoidance. I'm not good at "team building", "Agile development", "Synergy", "open office", "ping pong", "free cokes".

It's not rare something happens that knocks electricity out, or kills your internet connection. How you gonna buy bottled water, canned soup, and ammo at the corner store when your credit card or smartphone app won't work, and you don't have cash? I guess you can use some of that ammo you already have to get the water and soup, but I'm guessing that will cause other problems down the road.
I usually have between $100-$200 cash on me. When it drops to $100 I hit the ATM to get back to $200.
Then again, I'm old. YMMV, and unless you're brown and mowing it stay off my lawn.
I don't need an app to help me 'Discover' new shows, I DVR more TV than I have time to watch already. There are several shows on my "get the DVD set" list for when the pendulum swings back and TV is nothing but a big manure patch again.
The devices assume a certain amount of bandwidth. Stadiums don't have enough bandwidth because A) cheap stadium managers won't pay for it; and B) on game day you have thousands of fans using various devices using various frequency bands to do who knows what.
I've never used one of these devices but I'm gonna guess Microsoft doesn't handle bandwidth congestion issues well. That, and these millionaire football folks all have 1 gig bandwidth with 1 ms latency at home, and have never experienced network lag in their lives.
All my "sensitive" stuff is stored rot13 in a directory called "Nothing_to_see_here_move_Along. Am I still good? Hate to go to jail for those pix of my ex sticking her tongue out at me while I went for a downshirt photo.
