    I hope the research into SARS is going to lead to a cure to both SARS and the common cold.
    Drug companies make a lot of money from diseases and have no interest in finding a cure because the treatments they create take forever and therefore they are more profitable.

    Just a little correction. The reason you end the game for not taking off the condom is that when you return to the street the cops arrest you for indecent exposure. The disease part happens only if you didn't put the condom on.

    This reminds me at the 720KB floppy disks with only one hole. I used to drill another hole on the other side so I can write 1.4MB to them.
    The only difference is that I was getting the full HD capacity by drilling the hole. With this you get less then half the capacity of a DVD-R disk.

    They found high concentrations of C12 around the fossils from that period. The only way they could produce high amounts of C12 was through methane in water at a higher temperature.
    The really interesting idea is that how only a slight change in temperature increase can trigger so many other events that added up would cause a catastrophic event.
    They have tested many other hypotheses like massive meteor impacts that could cause the earth to "bleed" by releasing a lot of lava but all of them failed.

    Actually the biggest problem with carbon is that it can be released by methane that is being stored in the ocean. The way to cause that methane to release carbon 12 is by a 4-5 degrees global temperature increase.

    All the carbon 12 that is being released could cause an additional 4-5 degrees of temperature increase.

    10 degrees of global temperature increase could turn England into a desert. It has been proved that this phenomenon caused a pre-dinosaur extinction of about almost all life on earth. (The Permian Mass Extinction)

    Not many people can create sophistication through simplicity and as Leonardo da Vinci said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".

    Google is simple yet very sophisticated. A company like Yahoo does not have the creative power in their resources to even try to compete with Google. Yahoo is a company run by stuck up rich shareowners. The creativity at Yahoo got lost with the dot com boom.
