You apparantly don't know the difference between a pre-emptive RTOS and simple task switching. I too have prolems with vxWorks (specially with their Purchase of SingleStep & Diab). Especially bundling. Don't get me started with their removal of SingleStep Monitor support unless you use it with vxWorks.
We switched to another RTOS due to the above issues and are slowly moving to other products. It's hard to find a decent tools besides SingleStep and Diab. But, we're not upgrading to newer versions of those.
If you want to see the proper operation of street spoilers, take a look at the 1969 Charger Daytona, 1970 Superbird, or the 1970 Talledaga. These were streetable versions of their NASCAR cousins.
This morning, the Houston Chronicle is publishing an article stating that the verification of this shows that calls are still being answered in Bangalore.
"We did not send back any calls to the U.S.," the Dell International Services' spokeswoman in the high-tech hub of Bangalore, said on Tuesday.
Sure pal, I'll bet there's people out there both qualified and willing to do that job for $35K.
Maybe you've noticed, the RIAA and MPAA lawsuits have been civil, not criminal, cases. These companies aren't in it for people to go to jail. They want $$.
FBI tech engineers are going after the hackers breaking into systems and are investigating cases such as this. You'll notice they started investigating this case more than two years ago.
Actually, your analogy is a good one. Government (and pseudo-government) agencies control the toll-roads. They will keep you off of it. And bypassing their controls will eventually get you some tickets.
IM isn't exactly like your God-given right.

Actually, What you pay is EXACTLY what something is WORTH (to you). If I want something bad enough, I'll pay it.
I'm in the antique car hobby (wife calls it "old car" hobby). One beauty I have is worth 40,000 to me. To the rest of the hobby, its worth about 9,000. So, it's sitting in my garage awaiting the day it's worth more to them (or less to me).
Here's what I consider something of a review of anothers' research. MSNBC gave a brief overview of Luxenberg's forthcoming book (maybe out now?), his research, and examples of the revelations that be brings. Finally, an example of why such translation is important and what some of the research reveals.
So, I'm guessing that you don't actually have a radio license. It was not uncommon for friends of mine to listen to (not write) 45 WPM. Easily in the range of spoken words.
My limit was around 30 WPM. I used a keytronic keyer. I have to agree with others; there's nothing like your first QSO with someone across the earth. I got my Novice license at 12 and General at 13.
I would say followers of the mainstream media would be the "dumb sheep".
What I learned from your article: 1) You know nothing about the RIAA and the law 2) You know nothing about popular culture or the mainstream media (of which Fox does not belong). 3) You can't even follow INQ's rules for posting articles.
Reminds me of the line, "Oh, yeah we're losing a buck on every sale, but we make it up in volume".

VW used 6-volt systems at the time. Many antique owners have vehicles still with 6v systems. I converted my '51 Caddy to 8-volt to make up for the dimness of the lights. Easy conversion on the generator.
TROLL!!

Is that why every Pepsi I buy is flat?
Sure they do. Only to get the dork factor.

Very limited. Very lethal.
Is sucks to spend a lifetime denying your Creator only to meet him and be separated from Him in the end.
Merry Christmas to you too!
Actually, your memory is fading. Your TRS-80 had a maximum expansion capability of only 48K. The ROM was mapped into the other 16K.
There were 3rd party memory pagers available. But, not from "the shack".

Sending this kind of work to countries that commit attrocities against their people are not countries that we should be praising.
Tom's HW article is drivel and FUD akin to Red Cross visits to German and Japanese prison camps during WWII.

The question really should be "Why C++". C++'s evil memory pointer borrowed from C should be banished! It has no place in modern languages.
:-)
I agree that Java isn't the saviour (missing multiple inheritance). But, to make C++ be the end-all seems a bit over the top.
Now, if you want a REAL language, let's talk about PERL...

It's a Cell Phone...
No, it's a camera...
No, it's a video game...
No, it's a breakfast cerial...
When I thought of digital convergence, this isn't what I had in mind...
I think "RTFA" applies...

That's what I had hoped for in the review...
I quite agree. About all I got was, "It was compelling" Or, it was patchy.
I had hoped for a little background on each subject. What was discovered that first allowed the first insight behind the hieroglyphics?
What about the political courage of authors such as Tynsdale? Such translations must have been heretical to the Catholic Church at the time.
Great topics. Too bad I didn't get to learn more.. even about the books on the subject.

Gee, I miss that keyboard. Much better "clickity-clack" than that mushy Model-M keyboard.
Can someone find a link to modify one to work with a PS2?
Technically, all regex's are lexer's, not parsers. Parsers must be able to be recursive.
I'm all for Sonny and Cher (or the Band U2). But, What do they have to do with this guy's search engine?

Man, I wish I had mod points to rate a story. I'd give this one a "Troll".
News for Nerds? I think not.
