but I seriously think the downfall of the DC was that they didnt produce any games that were as fun and replayable like soul caliber.
when I bought the DC when it first came out I spent a total of 400 on it, controller, mem packs and games. I then bought several $50 games over the next while - but there is only two games that I still ever paly on it - soul caliber and tennis.
the DC was a great console - if only they had put out some good games there would be a totally different situation.
What I would like to see happen is consoles themselves becoming very cheap - but the games could remain at 60 bux... that way you could get several (like maybe 4 or 5) really good games for your console - but make the console itself for like 99 or 150 at the most. then you subsidize the console through the price of the games. and get a larger market share.
I just pulled all that out of my ass - and hafta get back to work, so not putting too much thought into it - so tear apart as needed and fix the concept:P
problem with your web site. when in the "art" section - there is no link to "next image" or main index of art etc... there is a back to top link at the bottom - but it just scolls the window up again.

Thats really cool - because you know anytime you try to sign your name on those little lcd's that UPS and some cash registers have - you can never make an acurate signature due to the fat that the plastic on plastic slides all overthe place and you dont get the friction of pen on paper which gives you enough feedback for you to be able to acurately control the path of the tip of the pen.
what if you had a system that tracked the Identity of people without tracking their location/destination *unless* a flag was raised.
Basically retinal biometric eye-scanning would be done - a persons ID would be verified and that would be all - but the system would be designed to only ID the person but NOT to correlate the flight/airline/airport/seat/dest etc unless it hit a name that was flagged in the DB.
The only other problem with a system like this is:
in my case - I am being sued by my ex-housekeeper who claims that I owe them money from two years ago. but they never attempted to tell me that i owed them money until two years later. I will not pay them - as I *know* they are jsut trying to extort it out of me through small claims court. So i dont pay them - now i havea warrant for the fact that I will not pay this. If I go to the airport to fly home for christmas - will it flag me as someone with a warrant and have me stopped and arrested in the airport for something like this - or traffic tickets?

This is what gets us into really scary times in the dark future - when you have a record of your "behavioural transactions" eg:
"As you can see, we have had our eye on you for some time now, Mr. Anderson. It seems as though you are living two livessss. In one you are a respected computer programer - in the other you are a hedonist who enjoys going to the male strip clubs and porn shops."
You ghet the idea. So - how do we say no to this? Not buy northwest tickets , thats for sure... but what if all airlines adopt this tech - that means that we will be *forced* to participate in the "metrics of our biology"...

Can you guys put up bandwidth graphs for the public to see. Like mrtg graphs page showing daily google request traffic flow. so we can see what type of overall trends in searching happens during the day.
I would love to be able to see just how massive you traffic is and what it looks like.

That and what about them making these things mandatory for enlisted service-men. Every soldier has embedded communications and location tracking device. Makes for quick and easy mass orders - and easy finding of downed/lost soldiers.
