The music, movie (was on/. a while ago) and now the game industry is doing profit records and yet they claim that piracy is going to driving them out of business?

You know, all this speculation is driving me nuts! It's useless to speculate whatever the Parhelia will kick nVidia ass or not untill we've seen some actual benchmarks.
In theory you/they are correct, but what about the Parhelia in practical tests? That's what I'm waiting for.

When we read our daily paper (which we pay for) we get ads too, right? What makes sites that much different? We don't pay for the contest on sites, in stead we see ads, is that so bad? Sure, I hate pop-up ads as much as you do and I thing those should be shot on sight.
But really, does a small banner like the one on slashdot bother that much? I'm okay with the ads on Zdnet and C|net too (the ones in the center of the article). Just ignore it, no one is forcing you to click on it. Just as no one is forcing you to go and buy whatever is advertized in your local paper.
Keep it as it is now, don't force people to click on ads or to close a window that pops up each time you surf a site and people will have no problem with the ads.
anyone remember Back to the Future II? Marty got clothes too large - no problem - and they were the right size. Same thing when he got wet - no problem. Would be cool to have that kinda clothes:)

Quite useless really, there has been keygens on the net for quite some time now.
They are fighting a battle they cannot win, for each key they disable 10 more will pop up on the net.
