  1. SCO "leads" the way on An Open Letter from Darl McBride · · Score: 1

In June, we released SCO OpenServer 6, which was a multi-year, multi-million dollar development effort that resulted in a product that goes beyond simply leveling the playing field with Linux. Based on the feedback from our strategic partners, customers, resellers, engineers, and many others, I believe SCO OpenServer 6 outshines Linux on a number of fronts:

Sorry, Darl. Things like large file support, additional processor support, and many other "advances" in OpenSewer 6 are things that Linux has had for a while now.

I can't see any reason for political, non-tech stories, on /. other than stress testing the "friend/foe" feature.

I assure you, there are plenty of political forums out there for this sort of thing, so let's get back to geek subjects before /. becomes Yet Another political flameboard.

When I returned to the US after living in the UK for while, I acquired some Foster's from the store and found that it not only tasted completely different than what I had in the UK & Austrailia, but it came packaged with a *wicked* hangover.
