If they want to do something, how about a publicly embarrassing statement to the people who let this guy through. Fire them, let the world know their names, and tell the rest of the people who have a job of keeping known bad people carrying things that blow up off of planes. New rules arent needed for this. New procedures arent needed. It is already against the rules to light things on fire on planes. The new rule effects ... ALL passengers. The rule that needs to be in enforced effects people who intend to light things on fire.

I am starting to think that the plane safest from terrorism is the plane that has no passengers, and never leaves the ground. That sure would prevent a successful attempt.

I am harsh in judging ... well , fuck em . they are idiots.

These werent engines that GM was packing into cars that no one wanted and therefore sat on lots without a chance of being purchased.

It sounds more like the beancounters couldnt justify the portion of a plant being used and the employees being paid for only 3% output of the plant. There is an economy of scale issue, and with current business being what it is, GM is obviously shedding all niche items ( up to Saab and Saturn) and focusing on high efficiency and core business output.

She can arrange a doctor visit without having to take time off work, and she will see the nurse who has a video conference with a real doctor. The trained nurse can handle the personal bits and the testing and offer suggestions to the doctor.

It is funny how I still catch hell from European friends about how long the US stayed isolated during WWII , calling that someone else's problem. I dont think that those problems were caused by an alliance with the US.

If the US reduces its positions, then we will have to hear about how we dont help out. Just think what could happen if we backed down and Japan decided to start really developing defensive capabilities, or if Israel starting listening less. Those carrier fleets are unfortunately a requirement for some of the little stability we have.

I would be fine with calling it all back, and letting the next 10 or 20 years get spent letting everyone sort out a new power structure, both economically and militarily. if this were to happen, I dont want to hear a damn word about how it is all the US fault.

Now, not all of the scientists are manipulative and crooked, but they may have been basing their beliefs on scientific leaders, such as the ones that cooked the books. There is not much of a true source now, especially if the only data left is the "cleansed" data, not the original raw data.
