    No, the parent is saying that if you want to push off of something to stop you at that rate of speed, it will need to be very massive.

    I would think that you could just rotate the entire assembly around once you get close to the destination to slow down, turing your solar sail into a "solar parachute".

    I had a simillar problem with my bank's online bill pay service. Because my bill was applied to the wrong account. The bank paid the late fee when they corrected the account.

    Not to mention the fact that most speed-related accidents were going well under the highway speed limit. Governers wont help going 65 in an area where it is only safe to do 40. Not to mention that every state and many counties have different highway speed limits.

    Yes there are some like this in Pittsburgh, Smithfield and 5th, and Wood and 5th both have an all lights red, all walk lights on status. When this happens its completly safe to do a diagonal cross. This only happens on a few intersections with super-high pedestrian traffic.

    There are also quite a few intersections like the following, because it is a triangular city: (each line is a street)

    Usually the "island" is a single "cheesewedge" shaped building.

    I know this was meant as funny, but Java is a normal accepted language. Because it is more structured then Perl or other languages, I highly reccomend Java to beginners.

    Javascript, or ECMA script, is a terrible non-standardized (despite being created by a standards board) peice of junk.

    Easy... does the 200 watt monitor and 350 watt computer run all the time? Unless you leave the fridge door open it isnt running all the time either.

    Really what he calculated is the peak wattage, which your system needs to be able to handle.

    Oh yeah one thing I forgot to mention, Bioware (the developer) really does care about the online community. Even though they make no money (aside from the sale of the game and expansions) Bioware employees talk to the PW communities and fix bugs and implement suggestions from the community.

    I was wondering if someone would mention NWN. The trick to this game is that the developer is not making money from the online game. The worlds are free player-run games. Yes, the gameplay can be clumbsy, and relying on free services is hit and miss at best, but solves the "time sink" dilemma.

    I am a member of the Lands of Lore nwn community, a very popular Neverwinter Nights persistant world.
