So there's perception, and there's reality. Maybe the reality is the police won't ask a victim to prove they're in the country legally. If an illegal immigrant's perception is the local police will deport them if they report a crime, do you think that they would report it. Likewise, if an illegal immigrant witnessed a crime, would they come forward if they believed doing so would get them deported?

The original movie sucked. Watch it again, its only merits are its campiness. I can't understand why they're remaking it either. Even as a kid the huge divergence from the original story annoyed me. Perseus never rode the Pegasus (though he aided in its creation). The writing was terrible "Gifts from the gods must never be questioned."

    Huh?

If I get to the intersection at the same time as someone else, I go first in they're on my left, yield if they're on my right. If there's a car to my left and right, I yield to the car on the right. If they're coming from the opposite direction and I'm going straight, they yield to me if they're turning left. It only gets confusing if four cars arrive at the same time.

Regardless, you should never assume the other driver knows the rules, caution is your best guide.

I agree, I haven't taken a written driving test in over 15 years. When I did take the test, one of the questions was (paraphrasing) "How often do you have to get your license replaced." What a ridiculous question (give me my license and I'll read the answer off of the front). I wonder what real question got crowded out by this irrelevant question (If it's not obvious, I missed the question).

The man at the newspaper who tracked the ip address, and identified the poster, should be fired. A newspaper should not be in the business of discouraging free speech. If the comment was offensive, it should have been moderated before publication (assuming there's a published policy against posting offensive material).

I am just guessing at what the man said, but unless it referenced some criminal act, tracking him down and getting him fired is inexcusable. The newspaper should issue an apology, and give him a job with an equivalent salary and benefits for life.
