While the extra 333MHz is impressive with just a quick solder job. My point is, the eMac is a great workhorse right out of the box. The story implied that it's anemic and slow without these hacks.
What I'm saying is that particular build of Safari isn't part of 10.3.2 update -- It must've come along with something else, as I've been running it on 10.3.1 for quite some time.
Isn't that about how many commercial games are currently available for Linux?
Seriously, why does this matter? Chances are more likely than not, the young impressionable kids who are being "protected" by this are using a Windows PC for playing games anyway.

I'm writing this from an eMac right now - but mine is the latest revision with the 1GHz G4.
All of those upgrades were available to me as build-to-order options in the online store @ apple.com
I've got 160GB HD, 1GB of RAM, Superdrive, 1GHz G4 - seems to me I don't need to hack it to make it a decent workhorse out of the box.
I'd mod this up if I could. I love Futurama!
"Hey Paperboy!"

Perhaps that's because 1.1.1 isn't part of this update?
Software Update is still plugging away in the background for me - and I'm posting this comment from Safari 1.1.1 on 10.3.1 - Go figure...
My suggestion would be to give them each a 40G iPod and take them out to a nice lunch to show your appreciation.
Seriously, once the cash is gone - it's forgotten. The iPod will be there all year round.
You have to bootstrap the 0.6 release yourself.
I compiled it today, and it works perfectly. Just finished installing MySQL from fink, no problems whatsoever.
Good Lord! There should seriously be a disclaimer attatched to the link to BeOS Max Edition website.
Instead of deploying troops in Iraq to force our American way of life on others, we can settle things online.
Imagine, being able to overthrow a dictatorship in a few rounds of DOA: Xtreme Beach Volleyball!
And here I thought Steve Jobs was simply weilding the "Reality Distortion Field " when he declared this year as "The Year of the Laptop."
Ah, sentiments like that make me want to dig up my old C-64.
At first glance, did anyone else interpret this as a pro-Apple story?
Even the Linux zealots are getting on the bandwagon these days.
Now if only they could use this technology to detect duplicate articles, we'd be set!

Nope - it's unnecessary.
Everybody knows that 83.6% of statistics are made up on the spot.
Oh that's reassuring!
It shouldn't be too difficult to find plenty of virgins around here :)
*rimshot*
Updating to 10.2.4 replaced my Apache config file too, but simply uncommenting the PHP module in the new httpd.conf fixed it for me.
I'm still running Apple's default PHP build rather than a new compilation.
Speaking of WTF????
WTF is a gammer? Please enlighten me.
For Apple menu-style launching in OSX, you should check out a little haxie called FruitMenu.
...Too bad you can't set the software update utility to check every minute...
Um, tell me again why you can't just make a cron job to run "softwareupdate" every minute?
Jeez.
That link doesn't seem to work for me.
...notebook hacks can be found here.
More hacks can be found at the main AppleFritter hacks page.
Check out the commercial for the original Legend of Zelda game on the NES.
I'm not sure which is worse, the lyrics - or that nerdy looking rapping blonde kid.
